In my many years of doing business , 11 years to be exact I read many business books but reading the Bible especially in the books of proverbs will give you the best tips and strategies you can use to grow your business ethically. Unknown to many of my customers these are the principles I hold on strongly in every product and service I provide online and offline in my workshop and I hope these verses would inspire you as well.
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
1 Timothy 6:10 (NIV)
Too often especially I see many new Internet Marketers or business owners focus so much on doing the business just so that they can make a flood of money to have a great life. There is nothing wrong with getting more money but if you make it your main objective in life, it may cost you to compromise in the way you run your business and in my experience that would lead you to do unethical actions for the sake of making money from your customers. It would later result in many griefs and conflicts if you are not ethnic in the way you present your products and services just for the sale without giving much thought about others. Therefore, be wise have a heart of serving others with good quality service and products would go a long way to building a strong stable business than aim for short aim results.
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

I have been doing online business and training for years and the biggest secret when it comes to thinking of sales funnel and strategies for my online campaigns has always been coming from one source. My wisdom and results were all from the result of praying and asking the Lord for directions. Regardless of the outcome , try to always give glory to God even if it’s not the outcome you wanted. A key thing one can do before they start any business venture is to thank God for the business or career before you start the work 🙂
There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.
Proverbs 6:16-19 (NIV)
I will be lying if I told you I never lie in my walk with Christ in my business. As a Christian, we live a daily life of repentance as God knows we are not perfect and therefore when we do a mistake the first thing I would do is to pray for forgiveness. As you can imagine if the Lord can hate lying how much more in our walk in life we should try to avoid lying as much as we can in our business. Lying in business would only result in more conflict in your business. Therefore be wise, it would always be wise to be as honest as you can to your customers even at times it may be a negative point but your clients will see that you are sincere would buy from you more than a lying salesman 🙂 Build a long term trusting business is always better than a short-term outcome 🙂
Do not be one who shakes hands in pledge or puts up security for debts;
Proverbs 22:26 (NIV)
I am a strong believer is not taking up debts that you are not able to pay off. Even if you are to take a loan be a responsible lender and make every effort to pay off every debt you own. There are many Gurus would teach you to “use other people’s money” to grow your investments but I do have to warn you do not take the unnesscary risk you cannot afford to keep. In fact, I do know many of my friends and clients who fall into this trap of debts due to greed in investment so be wise plan carefully 🙂
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms

Treat every business or career in your life today as a gift from God to serve others. Have a heart of a person who loves to serve others and your clients or friends will see the goodness in your life 🙂
