Getting Big Advertisers To Your Blog

I was checking out my blog today and was shocked to see this on my blog.

IDA Singapore a local government website was advertising their national day parade contest on my blog! It sure to nice to be able to have them on my blog. For more details about the advertisement just head on to this website here

But this proofs something, if you have a highly popular blog with tons of targeted audience coming to your website or blog. You can also attract big advertisers to your website. And all I did was I sign up with AdBrite advertising here =)

Hi Alvin, nice to see that your blog is recognised by the singapore government as the place to advertise.

I just wanted to comment on Adbrite, I realized that sometimes they have very inappropriate advertisements, so might want to be careful too.

I saw that they place 2 ads at my blog featuring extreme sports but there are more bikini girls appearing than sports (not that I mind) but it was not appropriate advertising so i took it down.

Is there? Ok, I shall check it out. Thanks.

Slowly going through your past post now. Beginning to learn alot more about blogging from you. I think my favourite portion is that “Goal Attained” portion though. Inspired by the amount there now.

Hi Alvin,

Nice to see that you are patriotic and all, certainly hope you’re attending NDP this year. ;) But I don’t mean to rain on your parade and do feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the IDA ad, a google adsense ad? Coz my blog had it for the past week or so. Anyway, adbrite is a good site for bloggers to look for advertisers and vice versa.:)

Patricia

Hee.. Yes that is indeed a google adsense ad as that spot on ur blog is also meant for adsense.
