How To Make At Least US$100 A Week With Just 40 Minutes A Day

Many people really fail and give up during the 1st 3 months in to the venture of making money online. I too was also a victim like you too and I can understand how it feels like to see no results for that long ( to be exact 6 months ).

I was just seating and chatting with my friend today and a thought came to my mind. My friend actually asked me can you really made money with just 40 minutes a day? My answer to him was a 100% yes using the right tactics and tools. I thought about it and I decided to share with you again, some more tactics I used to generate at least US$100 per week with just 40 minutes a day. If you are interested to find out how, then you better bookmark this post or subscribe to this blog for further updates :)

However there is one condition, I will only do so and exposed if I get at least 30 comments on this post  . All you need to do is to tell me your top three problems you faced in making money online and what results you have gotten so far for the past 1 month in terms of dollars and traffic.

    I have this site: http://topcars.freehostia.com/

I get poor adsense earnings and my problems are in getting traffic.

It’s a simple feed aggregator of blogs and sites that speaks about cars and automobile.
It was born as a personal project, but I think it could be a useful service for other people to discover new blogs.

    I have a new blog : http://www.boonjo.com/blog

My biggest problem is to get traffic, I just built the blog few days back, I just build the foundation first, then try to earn time by time. Do you have any advice for me to start getting traffic to a new blog like my one? Please anyone leave comment for me. Thanks.

    @Jo

In my case what’s wrong is falling back to what I am used to…

In stead of throwing that overboard and just following the instructions of Atomic Blogging. Knowledge is one thing, chaging old habits is another (another challenge for Alvin to change us …)

  4. Jo says:

    after reading all comments,
I’m sure they’ve read atomic blogging 2.0… why they still cannot get results ??? what’s wrong /?? that’s the big question…

My top 3 problems are the following:
    1. People don’t even know my site exists! I’ve participated in blog carnivals, submitted in social bookmarking sites and even in forums, even availed of google adsense but to no avail.
    2. Google can’t seem to index my site and give it a nice rating. My previous sites at blogger and wordpress were so much faster indexed and given good PR ratings, even a PR 1 on certain keywords.
    3. I can’t have much subscription eventhough I’ve already offered many free items in my site.

    HOpe you could help, thanks!

    my main problems is:

    1. Getting traffic to my site. I feel like i have tried everything and I am still not getting sales.
    2. Writing content for my blog.
    3. Can’t afford payperclick advertising cost. I spent over $200 on google adwords one month and only got one sale.

  7. Ah Lam says:

While I am writing this, I guess that would make it the 30th response!

    Here’s my big 3 problems:

    a) Is it a MUST to promote more than 5 products every month in order to get at least $1000 per month?
This is something I have read in a forum somewhere…kinda like improving your chances of getting sales instead of promoting only single product every month…but is it necessary?

    b) How to know whether a particular affiliate product is profitable? Seems like everyone is promoting the same product nowadays. So, what are my chances of getting sales? and what should I do in order to compete with other affiliates out there if I don’t have any list?

    c) How to drive traffic to my site without using paid advertising? I have tried article marketing but getting only few visitors to my site…kinda frustrating. Any better way of overcoming this?

    Hi Alvin,

    My 3 problems are:

    1) Traffic, traffic and traffic

    2) How to write a good content and article?

    3) How to select the good product to sell?

one more – how to do key word research?

    Thanks in advance

Hi Alvin, i thought i submitted a comment but did not appear. Anyway, for its traffic to my niche affilliate marketing blog http://www.charmbraceletsonline.net, and poor adsense earnings at $2.50 since Jan 08, quite embarassing really! Thanks

  10. Scott says:

I read through the comments of your blog whenever I get to read it.
It seems everyone has the same big problem…no traffic.
To meet the $100.00 a week I think would take way more than just 40 min. a day to bring in the traffic load needed to meet that goal.
I am very much looking forward to your next post on this.
    Thanks,
    Scott

  11. Kendra L says:

Hi, my problem is getting traffic to blog, a clear focus on making money online, and so far adsense has only been $2.50 after 3 months!

I started my blog about a week ago and have had some success driving traffic to the site. Unfortunately, I haven’t had ONE SINGLE AD CLICK yet. I know I’m an impatient guy and all, but you’d think one person would click something.

At any rate, I’m now curious to know what strategies are best for putting the appropriate ads on your site to maximize revenue possibilities. Any tips are appreciated.

    Hi,
Since switching over to another host,Hostgator, I have had good webhosting.

    My problems are:

    1. Unable to even get my visitors to donate let alone buy
    anything.

    2. lack of traffic

    3. Lack of sales or actual money. The Project Wonderful ads I have
make occasionally 0.10c an ad. And that is on the odd occasion.

  15. Hi,

I talk about this issue a lot. My advice is to be realistic with your expectations. Typical, across the board earnings, for a page with an Adsense ad on, not targeting high end earnings, is around $0.005 per page view. Let me repeat, yep, every time your page gets viewed and assuming your CTR (Click Thru Rate) is anywhere near normal, then you can expect to earn around HALF of one cent.

Don’t believe me? Then why not ask Google? To quote from the Google Adsense site: “From a publisher’s perspective, the effective cost-per-thousand impressions (eCPM) is a useful way to compare revenue across different channels and advertising programs. It is calculated by dividing total earnings by the number of impressions in thousands. For example, if a publisher earned $180 from 45,000 impressions, the eCPM would equal $180/45, or $4.00. However, please keep in mind that eCPM is a reporting feature that does not represent the actual amount paid to a publisher.”

If I have to work 40 minutes a day to make $100 a week, it’s not worth it.

    • Alvin Phang says:

What if you can make $100 per week with just 40 minutes.. what happens if you spend even more time and make triple or even ten times the amount :)

    • Linky Love says:

      @Carole

      40 minutes a day to make $100 a week
      400 minutes a day to make $1000 a week…

      that’s less than 48hours a week to make $4000 a month…

that’s good enough for me :-)

Add to that: no need to buy a car, not wasting time going to the office…(some people do commute 4 hours a day or waste another 600$ a week just sitting somewhere on the move)

  19. I have a wordpress site, and a website but I would like to know:

    1. How to utilise these to get both the traffic and create money from them.

    2. How to create blogs that can make me money.

    3. How can I keep traffic flowing to the site

  20. Gloria says:

    Hi Alvin,
    My main 3 problems are:
    1. Getting traffic to my site and automating it.
    2. And learning how to build a website page. I can put a page up, but I don’t know how to build my own page the way I want it.
    3. I have finally started my own list of 4. Now what do I do with them?
Thank You for any help you can give me, Alvin.

I would say that I do not have 3 problems, but just one and which is big: getting traffic.

I do not know what I did, but I succeeded to get 2,000 visits a day on January and then, it suddenly dropped and I receive something like 40 a day. You can imagine the drop in the earnings. The worst is that, now, I do not know what to do.

2)can you explain the best way to pre sell
3)what’s the best way to monitize.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
    Keep up the good work!

  24. 1) Never can get enough traffic

    2) Getting the traffic that I do get to buy something

    3) Keep buying the next best thing to come along only to find that although methods probably work they are not what I want

    4) The time everything seems to take

    (Sorry can’t count)

My making money with articles website has had over 2000 unique hits this month mainly from natuaral search engine traffic and I still only earnt about $70 from it!

  26. Spencer says:

Time to catch up, too much to learn, too much IT work to do are three big problems.

Getting my opportuinity exposed to enough people would be the goal.

  27. Hallo Alvin… I agree with you that most of the people give up making money online in the first 3-6 month of their experience! My point of view is that the most important facts about making money online are:

    1) Content + Traffic (the more you have, the better it is)

    2) The way you monetize your web pages: for example I use AdSense, and now I’m looking for some suitable affiliate programs

    3) NEVER TO GIVE UP!!! – I’m trying to make money online already for 1 year… my earnings are still really low, but I’m still here, just learning and trying. And now I feel that making money online will become a reality for me in the next 3-5 month, because the newbie’s are like a fruit, it takes time to become a ripe one! It takes time to understand how the things work and what are the keys to success!

P.S. I hope that you will tell your readers about making at least 100$ a week with just 40 minutes a day even if you will not get the wanted 30 comments! Why? …BECAUSE WE NEED YOUR HELP! Thank You!

    Hi Alvin,
    My main problems are
    1. Driving Traffic
    2. Learning how to put up items for sale on my blog and how to monotize it properly. Be it through affliate sales/ad sales or even selling my own product(in the making) – so far only made less then $10 in affliate sales- very pathetic.
3.Learning how to utilise and build an opt-in list.

I think that about sums it up.

  29. My top three problems are:

    1. Generating ongoing targeted traffic to my websites.

    2. How to automate my traffic generation and make it viral.

    3. Converting the traffic into sales.

    Hi Alvin,

I am sure everyone love to earn an extra US100 a week with just 40 minutes a day.

In fact I am experimenting sometime right now on whether I can earn US100 with just 15 minutes a day.

    Let move forward man!

    Hi Alvin,

I bought your Atomic Blogging 2, Great Program.

My 3 problems at making money online are:

    1. Getting lots of traffic to my blog and websites. I just get a few visitors a day and no buyers.

    2. I am not good at writing all the articles I need. I have just wrote up some of the email sales letters I have used and put them in my blog. What I really need is original articles.

    3. Many of the opportunites I am involved in require a downline to be built, I need help in building a large downline.

  35. Jo says:

that’s pretty cool… more money and more money… come one , show us the money ?

  36. Sorry Alvin can ask you which fonts are you using in your post, cos your Atomic Blogging fonts for the post seem to be a bit small…

  38. OK, here’s a comment…

    That’s one.

I’ll tell you what: I’ll play a game with you. You tell your readers how you make $100 per week in 40 minutes a day and I’ll tell my readers how I made just under $3K my first month–though it took me much more than 40 minutes a day, deal?

  39. Tim says:

    I’ll bite.

I set up a nice project with my wife. http://www.healthyorganicmom.com is a blog for ‘women who want themselves and their families to live an organic life’. My biggest problem is the time to write quality posts ( or getting my wife time to write quality posts).

Since starting in Jan, 539 unique visitors and $10 in click revenue.

Just started with Adbrite over the weekend but I am not too sure about how it changes the look and feel of the site. Are people happy with adbrite advertising?
