For some people who are not aware… our PM Mr. Lee Hsien Loong has great plans for us in Singapore. By the coming 2007, Singaporeans will be able to have at least 2 years of free (basic tier) wireless connectivity at up to 512 kbps speeds almost everywhere thanks to to IDA’s ‘Wireless@SG’ programme.

What this means for us is that Singapore will be position as one of the 1st few countries to have Internet Access almost any where you are in Singapore. Which means Internet is going to grow so huge in Singapore and it will be the Hub for Asia in time to come!

The sign-up details will be made known from December 2006 by the 3 major operators in Singapore and do look out for it and start getting free wireless!

I dont know about you, but I feel very excited about this launch as being an Internet Marketer… I be able to do my business virtually almost any part of Singapore and this in turn will allow us to branch out to more people. Especially laptops and wireless is going to be a hot item in 2007 when this program does launch.. =P
