So, I've learnt to be smart and focus on making that one-time sale. And if I find a campaign particularly profitable, then I would consider building a list because I know that the likelihood of a prospect turning into a buyer is much higher. But for now, it's all about the one time sale. My PPC ads send the visitors to my landing page which is content heavy - no list-building at all! I know of several successful affiliates who are utilizing such an approach.
