New GatherSuccess Forum Powered By Wordpress!
I was surfing the internet yesterday and got an idea to add in a forum to my blog and I did a google search for “Forum Wordpress Plugin” and to my suprised I found this cool Wordpress Plugin called “SimplePressForum“. It’s a forum that is powered by the Wordpress engine itself!
I just setup the forum on this blog @ http://www.GatherSuccess.com/forum/. Because the forum is still new, I would need your help to tell me what topics do you want on the forum, just simply post your replies at this forum thread here.
I have also included the following section on the forum too:
- A Place To Introduce Yourself In The Forum Thread
- Get Your Blog Reviewed By Me & Other In The Community Forum Thread

Great idea, a forum can be really valuable
Man, you beat me to the punch on this one…I found about this plugin as well as another one that does the same thing -only I searched using wp admin plugin search- about three months ago but figured I needed a bit more traffic first before implementing it…a forum is no small task to manage!

My question is running a WordPress plugin instead of a stand alone forum how much of a load is that going to put on the wordpress engine and if you have a lot of people on the forum will it slow down the blog since they are both running off the same WordPress engine.

If you decided to run a Forum i shall probably be your participant;thinking of subjects,needless to say there are countless;i would like you to put a unique approach.maybe choosing a theme to be the main for a while is not bad idea.
The options in the forum using this plugin is limited compared to vbulletin.

I had come across it last year and tried it out, but back then I was not at all impressed.
Seems like the author has done masive improvements to it and am loving it
I have already implemented it on my new site and hope it will become a great tool to my members.

I’m just arriving from twitter,after posting my tweets;it has been about articles i read this morning that earned my attention.I love twitter -its speed exchanging informations/sometimes i first hear about an event there,before all the rest of medias/,lots useful links, and i like it for to me, the most important reason -writing;i got inspired by writing my tweets, an avalanche of ideas and thoughts,so i started taking notices.
The one thing stayed to be a dilemma-i didn’t make many connections and communications/Am i wrong for that?
Maybe i should make more effort to do it?
I would like to know your opinions!
