When I first started doing Internet Marketing I was like many people who would go out there in the marketplace to find ebooks to buy and learn. Then I realized something, learning is one thing but applying it is another. Very often when I purchase ebooks they are mainly hype up stuff in the book that do not normally work or they did not actually share the real secret behind the commissions.
It’s common as most people actually earn from building list which come from many months or some even years of marketing online. So then I thought to myself I want to be lazy so I started to buy software. And guess what because I am so IT NERD, I was hooked in buying and collecting software for own use. I have used many scripts and softwares to build my sites and blogs.
A lot of books always talks about tactics and stuff, but the real story is that they actually have customized scripts to help do their processes faster then the average person can do or they hire someone to do it for them =) Some went too extreme in using these scripts so they ended up got banned or blacklist =P It also make sense that they do that because in a Internet Marketer’s point of view, your job is to market and not to learn all the time (90% of people do that).
How crazy am I over software? Take a look at my secret vault of softwares =)

The scripts you see there range from US$7 to as high as $497 each. But I think not many people will be crazy enough to buy all these. Normally before I decide to buy something I make sure I use it for the next few weeks before and generate results before I move on. So actually I did not really spend a lot as I did earn back every time I buy something =)
Here’s Secret Tip To Succeed
Buy only things you need and buy only things that will support what you are focus on. Once you bought it, hide your credit card some where or give it to someone for save keeping to prevent yourself from spending again and APPLY everything the script of software does for 3 weeks!
I am VERY VERY sure you will see results after that =)

Hi Alvin, I am pretty new to blogging although I’ve always been lurking in most blogs until recently.
I am also a Software and eBooks JUNKIE!
The one thing I am still hesitant of doing is: Using myself as a spokesperson for a Welcome Video or whatever video cos privacy is a big thing to me. So I think my only other way is perhaps to hire a friend to model to “speak” for me! lol
Great blog by the way!
Thanks Alvin!. It’s really useful.
What I was done before just collecting ebook, scripts, software, etc and have no time to reading and learning that software, these stuff just become garbage on my disk. “Buy only things you need and buy only things that will support what you are focus on”, the sentence will become “bold text” in my mind…
That is very good advice, Alvin. In my opinion, if you buy a software and don’t use it to its full potential, you are just wasting money. Even a $3000 product that you bought and don’t use is just junk. Maybe err.. a junk white elephant?

I think a major problem with many.. who buy scripts dont normally use them because they are not too sure.. how to use them.. =)
I think most who buy the scripts hire people to upload for them and do the whole setup mysql and phpadmin thingie. I am wary of this cos it means exposing the domain’s password (to the programmer), etc. What’s your view?
Hello, Alvin. Wow, you do buy a lot of programs, but so do I
