haha。
. Once the blog post is done I would publish it online, and I would take a short break to play with my dog. My dog loves to go outdoors, so I would most likely go to the garden with my dog at the same time relax a bit
5pm - Back to my computer again
After posting of my blog post, I would go into forums and post articles and comments to drive traffic to my blog. I would normally post only about 2 to 3 forum post a day or sometimes just plain lazy just post 1.
While posting in forums, I would also spend some time reading on forums to learn new stuff online. In some days instead of reading forums I would also read people’s blog too to keep myself updated with the latest information online.
6pm - Prepare email broadcast to my list
After spent time creating the post, I would always like to inform my subscribers about the new post on my blog as I love to deliver really solid information for my readers. By doing this also I build lots of credibility online and that’s very important in your online business.
7pm - Work on my Atomic Blogging book
During this time I would look at feedbacks from customers of my Atomic Blogging book and continue to update the package and book with more content and software to help them in their blogging business. While doing that my mum would call me for dinner and as usual I would find time really flies when you working online.
8pm - Dinner time
During dinner, I would relax and watch TV with my parents.
9pm - Back to computer to update book
The strange thing about myself is once I get an idea what to write I would really spend lots of time writing non stop. After writing and updating my book for 2 hours I would really feel tired by now. I would just go to youTube or movie sites to enjoy a movie I would like to watch online.
10pm - Movie marathon
Sometimes I can watch online movies until 1am
But well you always have to set a side time to relax, I guess.
11pm - Interview with Gurus
During the movie actually I am waiting for my overseas friends to be online as I do online interviews quite often online, and because I am 12 hours a head of them 11pm my time is their 11am their time!
Would spend about 1 hour on the interview and continue to edit the audio later on to be broadcast on to the blog which normally takes another 1 hour.
12am - Network with others on MyBlogLog
I love myBlogLog, and I would go in there everyday just to check out and make friends online in the network. I have done this quite successfully and have well over 682 members in my community
There is a reason why I do this and that is to generate awareness for my blog and make more friends too.
1am to sleeping time - My itchy finger starts
Around this time I would spend lots of time to relax by playing my favourite game which is Dota All Stars in Warcraft. My nick is NeNo for those who play can find me there
I would play game until maybe 4am or sometime 5am then I would go to sleep.
Summary
So that’s just a typical day of how I would spend my time online, I hope this gives you a better picture that to do blogging or online business you really have to spend lots of time in marketing, generating content, making friends, driving traffic and so much more.
If you are not getting results as you wish to, to be very frank you are just not doing enough to get what you want that’s all. I remember I spent well over 6 months on online marketing before I even received my first cheque!
At the beginning it may be very hard but WHO SAID IT WAS EASY by the way? What I promise is once you got at least the first US$100 coming in and about 1,000 in traffic coming in per month to your sites thing will start to get easier and easier as you go along.
Hope you guys find this post useful. If you have any comments just post them below ![]()

I think ‘ passion ‘ is the word to describe you Alvin cos I believe when a person is passionate about doing stuff he like , how hard or tired , he still enjoy .
I would say that I am more of an early bird. I think that comes from being fanatical about fly fishing and getting to the water early.
I start my day at 5AM and I am done by noon. That way the rest of the day is mine.
My office looks out over our backyard. Right now it’s full of about 2-3 feet of white stuff but when spring arrives our backyard becomes inspirational. We have had our dream house for about 2 years now and this summer we are designing, building and growing our first backyard garden.
Nothing better than a one minute commute to the office, is there?
Sounds like a real good way to live life Alvin.
Now if only my life was just as relaxing. Haha. But of course doing IM isn’t really work as long as you love it. =)
By the way, I’m host a thread at the Warrior Forum, whereby the best traffic strategy post gets a prize of US$120. If you are free, do drop by. Link is below.
