Are You A Victim Of Buying Too Much Information?
This is a real common problem for many people online who wish to make money online. It’s no doubt that buying great guides to help you is a good thing but what I realized is that there are many people online simply just love buying information and not reading through them.
Honestly speaking, I am also guilty of this as I just recently bought two guides and have not even got a chance to read it yet even. Here are some common problems people faced in real life:
- They bought the ebook but have not gone through it
- They bought so many ebooks they forget what they bought
- They bought many ebooks on different topics and do not know which to start on and complain information overload
- They do not have time to read them
Buying Is Also An Important Part Of Your Success
It is always recommended to learn from some one successful and duplicate their success. However, it’s not truth that even if you follow every single step the Guru teaches you, you will get the same results. It really depends how consistent you are with doing the work.
It is not recommended for anyone to start on an online business within any help from any expert as if you do it yourself you will face lots of problems and issues along the way.

The problem of information overload will shift our focus from our own work…! I think I learn too much and do too less.
Instead of buying lot of stuff, I recommend group learning using forums and joining community, I found that learn everything faster!

I agree with you Alvin, sometimes information overloads can make me become un-motivated to do any works online since I just don’t know where to start. That’s why I refrained myself from buying new programs or ebooks for the last 3 months and tried to implement all the things that I’ve learned so far.
Btw, I’m just wondering why when I click on your Twitter link, it said that “this account has been suspended”?
I have spent so many $$$ for information that either gave me repeats of something I already paid for or gave me more confusion.
Here’s my issue; the world is in a recession and yet ecommerce owners are still trying to make their millions by selling at extreme prices. Don’t get me wrong, I’m for profits but, I’m also cognizant of the economy.
Hi Alvin,
Your article really pinpoints a major problem that exists among many marketers. I have personally experienced this and it really isn’t until you decide when enough is enough that the cycle ends.
I was such a buyer and to make money online you have to sell stuff. Duh. But I was buying left, right and center and the more info I took in, the more stagnant I became.
There comes a point when you have to realize that having the information and using the information are two entirely different things and until you make application all you’ll have is frustration and a shrinking bank account.
It almost seems like a rite of passage that many marketers will go through. Since I’ve broken free from my own “info addiction” things have started looking brighter and there are actually some commissions starting to roll in.
Hope my comment can help someone,
Nando
I am (or have been) guilty of all 4 points you mention in this post
I have bought huge packages of eBayauction items with thousands of e-books that supposedly contain resell rights and an easy interface to access them with information on how to re-sell.. but they allways turn out to be the latest mish-mash that the last guy bought and re-burned to the cd with no autorun or anything. Just a huge directory full of poorly re-branded and non-functional little viral-marketing programs.
I did purchase AtomicBlogging early last year and just forgot about it after very briefly skimming over it. Just recently however I dug it out of the archives and really read it. From what I see, and have implemented so far, I like it. In fact its probably the only online-information package I will continue to subscribe to.
