Do you have any problem generating content for your blog?
Content generation and writing are the two important components of any blog. If you cannot clearly express and translate your ideas on your blog through writing, it is going to be very difficult to get new visitors to read your blog again because they don’t understand the objective of your blog, possibly including search engine spiders or crawlers.
I hope this article will serve as a guide especially for beginners to generate content for their blogs. Here are the 4 main type of articles you can write for your blog:
1. Tips article
You can provide tips on a particular topic in your niche such as how to improve self esteem for children today or how to prevent getting H1N1 Flu or Swine Flu. The tips should be clearly laid out with numbers or bullets to make your tips article easier and more interesting to read. The title should also include the number of tips that will be covered, such as “9 Tips To Help Boost Your Child’s Self-Esteem“.
2. Facts article
The facts article is an article that provides the readers with proven facts for content. For example, “How does does H1N1 Flu or Swine Flu spread?” would be a facts article, because you are able to provide content with medical or scientific proof.
3. Personal story and experience article
This will be about personal story or experience that you or somebody else had that relates to your blog topic or niche market in some way. For instance, “How I improve my child’s self esteem?” would most likely be a personal story and experience article.
4. Recommendation article
For recommendation article, the written content must be informative and readable because it is usually used to promote a product or service. For example, if you are recommending a product that can help someone else’s child to increase self-esteem, you might discuss the problem of low self-esteem, and use facts or your personal story and experience to show how effective after using the product.
If you do not have good writing skills, you may want to consider the following options:
1. Source for articles written by others with reprint rights
You can source for quality articles in article directories such as EzineArticles.com and GoArticles.com and then published to your blog without any changes made to the original articles.
2. Hire a writer to do the writing for you
If you are on a strict budget, you can hire students who are good in writing to do the work for you. Otherwise, you may want to hire a professional freelance writer from GetAFreelancer.com, Elance.com or ScriptLance.com.

Hey Alvin … good article.
These are tips that are different from most on the internet about fresh content and I really like them. I think that applying these tips to your blog post will give it a freshness that is unique to your personality and that will set you apart from other blogs. I like reading blogs that have the voice of the author injected into the piece over those that are correctly written but no personality.
Keep up the good work ….. and the same to Alvin Phang too!

Thanks for sharing this tips. Great!
outsourcing is a good way to generate content, but make sure to only use high quality resources.
Interviewing interesting people might be a good way to generate traffic. It’s always exciting to know and learn from other people’s experiences in life and/or business.
Hi Alvin, the contributor should be “Alvin Tan” not “Alvin Phang”. You’re making your readers confused.
Thanks Louis!
I think Alvin Phang is too busy to know this.
