Did You Write Your New Year Resolution?
I was checking my traffic stats today and I realized a very shocking thing that happen on my blog. On the 28th Dec 2006 I wrote an article about My New Year Resolution 2008 Goal Chart and an amazing thing happened.
I got ranked in Google for some key words and got lots of traffic from it, check out the screen shot below
I was getting massive traffic and hits from Google for just typing my goals on my blog! So what did I do?
Here’s A Guide Line What I Did
Firstly I did not even promote the blog post, all I did was I optimized my headline to have the keyword New Year Resolution with a H1 tag plus I ensure the url of the post has the keyword New Year Resolution. Google most often finds your blog related from title latency indexing, which got my blog post ranked in various places for New Year Resolution. Amazing there was a huge amount of search of it online. Always good to have free traffic.

Wow! Very impressive tactic you have uncovered here. Too bad my blog haven’t been set up yet I missed a great oppportunity. I wonder if doing a Chinese New Year Resoultion will have the same effect? I will be in time for that!
By the way how do you set up a H1 tag and ensure that your url have the keyword there?

I found the exact same thing. I just wrote about how to set smart goals. And I have received a heap of traffic from google already from it.
