After reading this article from fortune I thought it is seriously not impossible to make money from blogging. If a 19 year old can do it, I think anyone also can =)
More about what Jon Gales did was he created a blog at www.MobileTracker.net/. According to the business article, 300,000 page views per month, which I have checked his alexa ranking is about 42,000 now not too bad =)
Gales started writing HTML codes at the age of just 13. After finishing his high school in 2002, he got a Sony Ericsson mobile phone and posted a review using his MAC. Which later he linked to an affiliate link with Amazon and he got back $150. After that he knew there was money to be made Gale then launch MobileTracker =)

Wow! It sound as it is pretty easy for that guy to make $55K within a year just for posting and blogging mobile phone stuff. I must say that this is his own achievement and his effort has paid off for making $55K in a year. I wish I be like him just for blogging or posting stuff.
John Gales site very simple to see and navigate. Important lesson here is that to Blog about what you REALLY GOOD AT. Have knowledge and background on subject.
