You have heard of numerous number of marketers all around the world making great living from the Internet. In fact, I was conducting my seminar just yesterday and I met an underground marketer who made well over a Million dollars just from doing Adsense
Before I go into the details of how you can start making money online I would like to share with you some real facts and things you will need before you begin.
Well first off, you must dedicate time for it! Through a mini survey I did recently, I realized there are many people who do have a lack of time and do not wish to spend too much time into the online business to make money. The thing is, if you are serious about making money online, you got to prepare yourself to have tons of sleepless nights & really spend time on it
I remember when I first started, I work on my blogging business at least 5 to 8 hours per day. It was really tough at first because as like everyone I was a newbie once just like you, and it takes time to learn the tricks of the trade
Other then time, what else do you need to make money online? Well you will also need to learn to be focus and be consistence in your marketing! Many people fail and gave up simply because they are not consistence in their work flow and planning.
And one last thing you will need before you can be successful in making money online, YOU MUST learn some IT technical skills. Many Gurus always claim you do not need IT Skills to do Internet Marketing. It’s not truth! you must know at least a few basic knowledge like how to create hyperlinks and setting up a website.
Alright now that I have covered the preparation stuff that you need to start, here is real Quick Start Guide to Make Money Online
1. Start First By Doing A Keyword Research
Before you start jumping into doing your online business, the first thing you need to do first is to create a set of keywords to research on. You can use this free tool to do your keyword research. You need to generate a list of about 1,000+ keyword with demand and competition to actually determine what niche you would like to do first.
Once you have found out what niche you like to do, you will need to
2. Start Creating A Blog And Write Quality Content
Using the keywords you have gathered, you would now know what type of content you can start writing about. If you have no idea what to write, you can always go to EzineArticles and look for ideas on topics to write. However, you are not allow to just simply copy the content as it’s all copyrighted. You will required to do some ghost writing by simply replacing every word written by the writer
3. Drive Massive Traffic To Your Blog
Once your content is up on your blog, what you need to do next is to drive traffic. But not just drive only 100 hits but always aim to drive by the thousands. If you need help on driving traffic you can get more information from my guide here .
4. Start Monetizing Your Blog Now!
While you are busy driving traffic to your blog, you would also want to start monetizing your blog site. The best way to do this is to start selling digital products which you can get them and sell them for free and earn commission from Clickbank .
So that’s basically in a nutshell a quick start guide to make money online. Once you start your journey into this business, you would also want to consider calculating your commission matrix. If you have any further comments feel free to comment below.

great list of guides on making money online. thanks for sharing. btw, I’ve bookmarked this page.
Good post Alvin. You have summed up the 4 things a person needs to to today. #3 will be the hardest for people to do on a consistent basis.
-Jeff Schuman
You skipped the niche selection step and also the fact that passion is very important to make money online, especially if you want to build a long-term business.
I it hard to imagine doing the same thing every day for years. Life is too short to do what you don’t enjoy doing.
Overall, this is a great overview though. I like the fact that you put monetization on step 4. Think about content and traffic first. Give the visitors what they want, and money will follow.
Hi Alvin,
With Oronjo.com, you can also sell part of your blog’s articles. It’s a free service.

Your welcome guys
Hi Alvin, you mentioned that you met a guy who make $1million thru adsense. Is he in Singapore and what is his expense ($) in making the million dollar in adsense, i.e. Nett profit?
Will be interesting if u can do an interview of this guy and post it on your blog. I am sure that will draw a large traffic to your blog and possibly generate a good affiliate commission if he has a product to sell
Maybe I would… see if he is open to do it..

Hi Alvin,
Could you post a list of affiliate services, like you just made one about Paid to Blog Services?
Lists always draw in lots of visitors
Thanks!
Internet business is just like any other biz, need a lot of marketing efforts. ABout the underground internet marketer, he really made me jeoleous as my adsense income is just peanut.
I guess lead building is also important
Hi Lisa,
Great site. Thanks for your information!

Alvin writes very lucidly and straight to the point. There’s a lot of fluff out there about making money on the internet and it’s often really just that - fluff. Making money on the internet is really quite straightforward and there is no need to look at things in too complex a manner or you’ll never get started.
I’ve been making money off the stocks market all my life. Although internet marketing is really the new age way to make money, I strongly believe that by combining the two there would be great ways to monetize.
That’s a great posy Alvin. Doing SEO is a pain staking work. People who don’t have the patient, for them it’s hard. Results don’t come right away. If you’re a starter in website building, then you have long way to go. You need to first learn building websites and then get into driving traffic and then marketing. But it can be done. Once you have your blog or site going on auto pilot, then all you’re doing is collecting checks
Great post Alvin. I have been on the internet since the late 80’s in my teens when I had a commodore 64 and a 300 baud modem. The “net” was all nodes, shortly after when BB’s(bulletin board systems) came along with 10 person chat rooms in 1989, we all thought that was the end all. I saw the whole net transform into what it is currently.
Fast forward to today, now Im in my 30’s an IT professional but just recently embarked on profiting from the internet. I must admit, having the technical knowledge allows me to cut out other people that would be profiting from my ignorance.
I sometimes wonder how some people get around this without spending loads of money before they even have a chance to start making any, but with user friendly GUI programs out now it’s all possible.
It’s been a long two weeks for me and I sold my first clickbank product :). Ive been doing so much marketing it’s hard for me to pin-point where the sale generated from. I really wished I had embarked upon this some years ago, Id be light years ahead of where I am now, having some technical knowledge really helps though when it comes to making money on the internet.
Thanks for the Post.
Great tips Alvin! Thanks for sharing these!
Best,
Sidnee

I do hope you can make it a series of posts, and also to deal with not just the pratical stuff, but also the intangibles, like the determination to succeed, willingness to fail, perseverence, building networks and teams, etc. Great job!
