The Most Powerful Blog Marketing Tactic Is…
Alvin Phang
del.icio.us it! | reddit it! | stumble it!

The ability to understand and interact with every reader on your blog and solve their problems and issues as soon as possible! This may sound really stupid for some but to build a huge empire of readers on your blog and create lots of loyal readers, you must first get your readers to trust you and benefit from your materials.

There are many countless popular bloggers out there but only a handful of them actually take the effect to get to know their readers on their blog.

Here’s Some Guidelines To Help You Out

1. Always try to response to every email your readers has sent you, even if it’s a stupid question :P However to me there is never a stupid question because everyone was once a newbie anyway :)

2. Response to the comments your readers had written on your blog

3. Show your readers you care by providing materials that they have required and give it for free, they love it!

4. BE HONEST! DO NOT start writing information or crap that you are not sure! Always stay honest and you will build up your creditability

5. Ask your readers questions and ask them what are their problems and on top of them REMEMBER to answer them too :)

6. Write from your heart and be open to share all the information you know :)

7. Do not try to hard sell your readers and give value information to get them coming back for more

8. In general, I realized people love to read long post of information and solution based titles are great to show your readers some guidelines on your topic

9. Make it as simple and straight away as possible for your readers to subscribe to your blog, for example if you like this post you can clicking here to subscribe :)

That’s almost about it, I hope you find this information useful and if you can do tell your readers on your blog about this article too :)

Truer words have not been spoken, Alvin. High profile or just starting out I certainly find that the people I am interested in online are ‘real’ people … people who respond in conversations, people who treat me as aperson and who act like real people themselves.

An obstacle a lot of new bloggers have to overcome is, they have a circle of friends and family and then they act like they have their “traffic” on their blog. If you don’t have time to convert your “traffic” into your circle of freinds and colleagues, then blogging is likely not for you. There are many other impersonal ways to make a buck, blogging is about people and community.

Hi Alvin, great post. I really try to stick close to your sixth point about writing from my heart and sharing information as much as possible. Of course, some of what I share might not make me seem as proficient as I’d like to be thought of, but hey, we’re always in the process of learning, right? :-)
