  5. One of my favorite plugins is RSS Power Plus Pro because it automatically submits RSS Feeds to up to 20 RSS Aggregators with every post. I’m seeing an average of 15 of 20 being successful each time. Since this plugin allows multiple profiles for aggregator accounts where registration is required, my visible footprint is reduced.

A free version is available but it only submits to 5 aggregators and only 1 profile is allowed so I went the paid route.

    Hi Alvin,

I use a couple other plugins that I think are badd *ss…

Intense Debate (which is like Brian’s threaded comments I believe…but on steroids- Check out my blog comments and hover on my avatar to see)

Comment Luv -this gives the page more avenues of “escape” but I think helps the blog community be more social.

  15. Leo says:

    Hi Alvin,

I actually use several not listed. But of the couple that I am thinking do alot is comment luv (although it gives more avenues of “escape” on your blog, it does make for a more social blog) and intensedebate (which looks to be like Brian’s threaded comments…but on steroids..just check it out in action over at my blog).

  16. Wesley says:

Well, can I tell you about the plugin I created? :)

It’s called Blog Stats, and is excellent for an advertising page on your site. The plugin makes available a number of statistics about your blog, including pagerank, alexa rank, technorati rank and feedburner RSS count. You can then use those numbers on your posts and pages via shortcodes, for example: [pagerank] would display your current pagerank.

Each day, those stats are updated so you never have outdated information.

I’m now working on version 2 (doing some bug fixes) and adding new metrics (compete, quantcast, twitter follower count, etc)
