Top 3 Questions People Like To Ask Me About Making Money Online
Alvin Phang
del.icio.us it! | reddit it! | stumble it!

I get tons of email every day, where people ask me for help and I try my best to reply as much as I can possible as I only have two eyes, two hands and one brain :) So if you do email me, I do have to apologized for the slow response because I get almost 600 emails per day.

And I noticed there are lots of people who keep on asking me the same questions, so I decided to compile right here the top 3 questions people love to ask and I will write the solution just below it :)

No.1 Question - How To Drive More Traffic

Well, if you have been actively reading this blog. I do share quite a lot about how you can generate traffic on your site or blogs. There are about 48 effective ways I know that can drive traffic to websites. But what I do is I only focus on a few methods and I ensure I was really good at it. My top 3 methods to get traffic would be from Article Writing, Forum Marketing & Social Networks ( Web 2.0 ).

For help and articles on traffic generation, I do have videos and tutorials at my Hits Report section. However, more important before you even get started you should read my Eight Step Formula on starting a online business.

No. 2 Question - How To Post A Powerful Article

Just 7 days ago, I wrote an article about “Writing Compelling Articles“. There are lots of tips and pointers in that article which I share about how you should write and words you should use for your articles.

In general, to write a powerful article. You can just simply write on any topic that you find that is useful for yourself. For example you found a great way to do a certain task and you really benefited from it. You would want to share the experiences of how you benefited that and write it on your post.

Most readers would love to learn real life experiences as learning such stuff is really valuable compared to theories created by others

No. 3 Question - How You Get So Much Ideas For Your Content?

There are many ways you can get ideas for your content. The best recommended way is to survey your readers or customers and ask them what they would like to learn. You can also get ideas from reading other related blog sites or posting questions for people to answer in their comments.

However, I still feel the best methods is to survey your readers and just give them what they need. That way you kill two birds with one stone by providing valuable content that people would like to read about.

For example, I actually was clueless what I like to write about. So I decided to open up my survey and find what are the top 3 questions that people always love to asked and you can see that I am actually doing that right now :)

So that’s it guys, I really hope I helped answered a few questions there many of you guys are seeking for. If you have any more questions just post them in the comment below.

600 emails a day! Good Lord Alvin how do you cope, delete 590 of them?

:-)

I like you pointing out the 3 basic traffic generators of articles, forums and web 2.0. Most people want a short cut though and want to escape the hard work of writing articles, forum posts and so on.

And that’s why you get 590 emails asking you for short cuts!

All The Best

Alex

Well.. not every email is a question.. =) Most of them are just newsletters I subscribe to. Just to keep myself updated on the things happening online.

Alvin,
Appreciate the info. As a newbie to blogging and internet marketing, traffic is still my biggest struggle. I have been learning that writing articles and web 2.0 sites are the way to go but I sometimes get a little frustrated because for those techniques to be successful you need to know how to write which I am not very good at but most of all submitting to web 2.0 sites can be a little hard to keep track of. Then to not be considered a spammer you have to keep good relations with the communities. So how in the world do you stay in the good graces of all these different sites you contribute to? It just seems like you have to be everywhere at one time and I can not seem to nail down a system without going into overload. You guys really are superman. I just purchased Atomic Blogging and wanted to say it’s awesome and I really like your blog. Just what a newbie needed!

Thanks,
Jason
