		<description>Interesting... I guess that like most things in life, marketing with forums is a lot more effective when you put some time into it and take it a step at a time. 

And I guess that, like all viral marketing, there&#039;s less chance of it backfiring if those who you&#039;re marketing to like what they see - at least, there&#039;d be less chance of your fellow forum members getting mad at you. I can&#039;t really think of a way to get around anti-marketing rules in forums!</description>

		<description>Totally agree, being a member of a forum is a privilege and should not be abused. A forum should be regards as a club where individuals where you can form relationships, once you have formed relationship and provided help in the form you will find other members will ask about your products and services.

Unfortunately many people joins forums with the sole intention of getting a backlink for their websites, or as you say, to push their products, this is the wrong way to getting established and well known in a forum. Do it the right way and you will get respect and rewards
