What Is Success To You?
There are many things in life that we sometimes take for granted. I post my personal story about 3 years ago at this blog post & if you have read it you will realized my life back then was not was smooth sailing as it was today 
I went through lots of troubles and problems along the way as you read from this post on my real life story of how I began. Also, if you realized the past few weeks, I did not talk much about how to make money online but focusing more on the thinking mindset of a good internet marketer which is what MANY of you guys LACK OFF.
The reason I do that is not just to motivate you as my loyal reader, but I hope you will take my advice and guidance to do something for your own internet business. Many people simply fail for one core reason, they do not take enough massive action in their online marketing efforts.
You Determine Your Success
No one in this world will understand what you are going through then yourself. I remember when I started out as a newbie back then I only made US$20 in a month which took me about 3 months to achieve. Was it a great success to me? Well to tell you frankly that was the best day of my life Because I just proven to myself money can be made online as long as you do your marketing
Even though you just made a $1 dollar online from your Adsense income, but hey it’s still money right
WARNING Do Not Fall Into The Trap Of Little Money
I got to know many students and people online who had spend years trying to make money online but hardly made even $100 monthly online. And what will happen next naturally, they will fall into this trap call the “demonetization trap”.
I know how this feels like because I was in your shoes before And what will happen next naturally, you start to loose faith in Internet Marketing and continue to buy more internet courses in hopes to get a break through.
But frankly, ask yourself this. Do you really need more education on internet marketing? Or you are just plan lazy to do something about it You know who you are, so start doing something about it
So What Is Success To You?
Here’s what I am going to do in this mini exercise, I like to find out from you what is success to you. All you need to do is answer these simple questions below:
- How Much Would You Like To Make Online Monthly (in US Dollars)?
- What Would You Like To Buy If You Got The Money?
Reasons Why You Must Take Part
I know this may sound strange to you, but I really believe in this so much that I practice it myself too And what I did was I took a $10 note and using a black pen I drew extra 4 zeros behind making it $100,000 and I paste this modified dollar note in front of me every day when I work
What this does it is helps me to visualize what I really want and help me to be focus in what I want to achieve in life
Here’s the thing, if you cannot even visualize what you really want, high chances you will never get it that is why I would like you to participant in this exercise and answer the 2 questions above So start posting your answers below by commenting below

I never started this making money online idea to get rich. I merely wanted to be able to replace my income from outside($2k a month) and be able to stay at home with my new baby. Now I have a 3 yr old and 1 yr old and have been home for 4 yrs. In those 4 yrs I have built numerous websites and tried various things. I now make $500 a month from freelance work and about $200 a month for commissions here and there.
I just started to build my list last year and now have 225 people. not much and have not made more than $10 from that list, but I still have hopes of building it up and making steady money as soon as I can get a marketing system set up that works.
I would like to make $3000-$4000 a month by the end of 2011 and then by the end of 5 yrs be making $100k a year. I have had a bad habit of not sticking to things and after 4 months if something hasn’t made me any money, instead of thinking about the fact I didn’t market as much as I should have, I go on to something else.
I think I like what I do now, blogging and freelance writing, so now I am just going to build my list, and look for new writing clients.
I believe I can do it. I believe everyone who fights for it and persists can do it. You only fail when you stop doing anything. You never know what tomorrow will bring.

I would like to earn $10,000 per month. Then I could quit my night shift job as I’m so tired all of the time! This amount would also allow me to pay off my debts and help my kids out. I still have one to put through university.
I wouldn’t buy another house just fix up the one that I’ve got. I would also like to buy my husband a decent car, the one he’s driving is 28 years old!

Great post. I will have to work on my speaker system and watch the video again. Bad eyes and hearing. Comes with age. Early years in loud trucks didn’t help my hearing any . Ring in my ears all the time.
I would like to earn at least $5000 per month which would be enough to replace my income from my night shift job. In all my 68 years of living and my years of working starting when I joined the Army in 1960 I have never made $5000 a month. When I joined the Army I made $100.00 month before taxes. Now I think the lowest they start oyt is $1500.00 month which is more than I get on Social Security a mpnth. Whtil my wife had the stroke three years ago she had three jobs and worked seven days a week. Part of the reason she hat the stroke. The most I ever made was about $3000.00.
I would like to make $2-3000 a month and go up from there. I haven’t spent thousands on programe and been scaned like a lot have. I didn’t and still don’t have it. With the $300 we can pay off the house,Buy me the pickup I want and get my wife a car no one else has drove until they traided it for their new one. In our 25 years she has never got to drive her own new car. I want to change that.

The story is not unusual and like all the others on startup @web money makers.
I started with a website, a blog and got scammed and had to close down, my Cash cow
was killed by scammers and now my moneymaking system was also closed by a very heavy scamming.
Now I’m trying to getback into mnbew tracks and make me some money.
ClickBank is still holding back some money and had frozen it. For the time being I have my doubts that
everything is coming back to me.
You should be well aware it is not only slapping by friendly systems also the friends next door who are greedy to fight against you and you need to be very carefully and avoid small mistakes since success is a very tyni plant.
But according my knowledge learning the bread and butter biz makes you a survivour and the rest of the ‘Gurus’ can’t touch your biz. You have to run your own on your own knowledge and get into every testing program you can grab and you are on the safe side.
My motto kept me always safe. Its nice to be important but its more important to be nice.

Dear Alvin, Yes as with any business, To be successful at internet marketing you have to be focused, dedicated and REALLY BELIEVE that you will make lots of money (as I do) The one thing that bugs me is no one tells you about all the hidden costs, such as ppc, hosting, article costs but most of all how much time it all takes to build a list! I work full time (the bills have to be paid) and I get home late, so I only have about 3 hrs to spend on the computer. Having said all this, Isn’t it EXCITING that the whole world is our marketplace
with unlimited potential for sales !!! I’m convinced that if you want it bad enough anyone can make big money

How true.. You’ve nailed it again. I surely don’t need more training but have a apply what i know. Its easy to fall for another selling pitch on how to let the money flow, but it stays work. Nobody tells you about the hundreds of hours they’ve spend to get to the point of creating streams of income within 24hrs. You need to create your first $ then expand on that.

I like your story of the $10 bill. Did you look at that as your monthly income or annual? Have you since taken higher denomination bills i.e., $20 and done the same?
Your comment re the small money is very insightful. Another point: unless we have a $100,000 note in front of us daily, we loose sight of what our goal is and then can easily fall prey to accepting the small income we are generating from blogging as being normal, in other words we dumb down our original goal and the potential for success that is in all of us.
I enjoy visiting here – you are a good source of alternate thinking and that is good!

It is more than 6 months, my blog whichlaneareyou.com been published. Up to date, I have more than 60 posts. FYI, I still struggling with the visibility of my blog and how to make money from it. I do have comment in my blog everyday but in my facebook. Most of my reader prefer to comment inside Facebook rather than in my blog. I have to transfer it manually to my blog. Although still a lot of thing to learn and fine tune, at least I feel proud to have my own blog and my friend really help me to write some of the articles. I know the pathway as blogger is not easy.
