What Is Success To You?
There are many things in life that we sometimes take for granted. I post my personal story about 3 years ago at this blog post & if you have read it you will realized my life back then was not was smooth sailing as it was today 
I went through lots of troubles and problems along the way as you read from this post on my real life story of how I began. Also, if you realized the past few weeks, I did not talk much about how to make money online but focusing more on the thinking mindset of a good internet marketer which is what MANY of you guys LACK OFF.
The reason I do that is not just to motivate you as my loyal reader, but I hope you will take my advice and guidance to do something for your own internet business. Many people simply fail for one core reason, they do not take enough massive action in their online marketing efforts.
You Determine Your Success
No one in this world will understand what you are going through then yourself. I remember when I started out as a newbie back then I only made US$20 in a month which took me about 3 months to achieve. Was it a great success to me? Well to tell you frankly that was the best day of my life Because I just proven to myself money can be made online as long as you do your marketing
Even though you just made a $1 dollar online from your Adsense income, but hey it’s still money right
WARNING Do Not Fall Into The Trap Of Little Money
I got to know many students and people online who had spend years trying to make money online but hardly made even $100 monthly online. And what will happen next naturally, they will fall into this trap call the “demonetization trap”.
I know how this feels like because I was in your shoes before And what will happen next naturally, you start to loose faith in Internet Marketing and continue to buy more internet courses in hopes to get a break through.
But frankly, ask yourself this. Do you really need more education on internet marketing? Or you are just plan lazy to do something about it You know who you are, so start doing something about it

Here’s what I am going to do in this mini exercise, I like to find out from you what is success to you. All you need to do is answer these simple questions below:

I know this may sound strange to you, but I really believe in this so much that I practice it myself too And what I did was I took a $10 note and using a black pen I drew extra 4 zeros behind making it $100,000 and I paste this modified dollar note in front of me every day when I work
What this does it is helps me to visualize what I really want and help me to be focus in what I want to achieve in life
Here’s the thing, if you cannot even visualize what you really want, high chances you will never get it that is why I would like you to participant in this exercise and answer the 2 questions above So start posting your answers below by commenting below

doing so in writting, not just mentally.
Actually, both of the questions you asked me to respond to
are included in my posted goals.
1) My long term goal is to be financially independent. For me to
attain that goal I know I must crawl before I walk.
So my short term goal is to replace my income from my present
job, allowing me the opportunity to devote my entire time to my
Home Business. That would require me to make about $6,000
monthly. However my longterm goal is to make at least $10,000 a
month or more.
2) What to do with the money. First and foremost is to reduce and
eliminate any expenses we presently of on our cars, home and of
course the dreaded credit card accounts.
Once that is done I would like to be able to provide our children and
grand children the opportunity to benefit from our success. Then,
along with my wife, I would love to design and build a new home in
the country on some acreage.

Of course everybody wants to make money online. For the past few months. I myself am struggling to make money online but with no success. In fact a lot of money coming out from me.Every one has a dream.
I wished I could make $50,000 or $80,000 a month for my mom and my siblings. Let my siblings finished their studies and my mom a new house and a fund for her hospitalization.

I would like to talk about amplification related to making money,rather,to account of money;some go from $10000 a month to $100000.Would it be possible for one novice/think of internet earning/to start making $10000-50000 a month?No!

Well, my target for this year is to make 500 Singapore dollars a month. Anything more than that would be added bonus. Why 500 Singapore dollars only? Firstly, I am not a full time blogger, I spend on the average half an hour or so at most daily in updating my blog secondly, blogging serves more like a hobby and interest to me rather than substitute for a full time job. Thirdly, I could do with getting a nice set of huge LCD Home Theatre system to replace my aging unit with 500 bucks:):):)
I do not believe and never will on the possibility of anyone earning millions of dollars in pure profit via blogging. I think it is just scam and lies, thats all for so called Guru’s to prey on newbies chasing after the Internet get quick rich schemes and online marketing dreams. Unless you have information that no one else able to provide, it makes me wonder why would anyone pay you so much for your blog.
If anyone wants to know what mistakes to avoid in blogging, well, I am proud to declare that my blog is good for case study. There is virtually no keyword optimization, SEO optimization and other important factors that should be done. Wost still it is the free service by blogger. Any serious Internet Marketer would know that a serious blogging person must have his own domain and web hosting account. Clearly when it comes to scoring criteria according to Atomic Blogging, my blog would rank at the bottom for it. Its okay though, I am not complaining anyway, so the heck care what others think about it.
That’s pretty much about it, I must say I like your style of bloggingn Alvin. You don’t brag like others do, well you know the so called desperate Internet Marketers that pops up now and then. I really get fed up with those who say they earn 100K or more a month using this or that secret techniques and blah blah..blah. If they are earning so much then why continue to sell software packages and services that cost just over 47 bucks a month?
On the other hand, you published your monthly checks which rings a bell with me. Down to earth honest blogging about realistic goals. Even your paycheck is very realistic and achievable.
You once mentioned that there is no easy short cut method to earning reasonable and handsome profits via blogging.
Ultimately it is all about hard work, dedication and the desire to succeed. More importantly, hard work , dedication and desire to succeed without the necessary blueprint to accomplish that goal via systematic approach is a dead give away and invitation to failure.
There are many blogging techniques in the Internet, what sets Atomic Blogging apart from the rest is the systematic easy to follow guide and approach to jump start blogging the effective and profitable way, quickly without having to learn the ropes from the scratch.
I am taking a challenge that by implementing all the techniques and tips from Atomic Blogging, I will be on my way to earn my first 500 Singapore dollar monthly paycheck by middle of this year latest:):):)

I have been a student of internet marketing, semi-seriously for two years no (before that just fooling around — or more to the point fooling myself thinking that I was “working” online). This January I decided, enough semi-serious, get serious, block the time, set up a system (which will always be in progress), and work the system. I am glad to report that there are dollars (not pennies) coming from Adsense, and I made my first affiliate sale of $48.50. That was for January.
My short term goal for IM is to reach a four figure income per month. My longer term goal is to reach a five figure income per month, and the long term is six figures per month. What would I do?
short term goal: just manage it by the “jars” method: 50 percent towards my necessities, and then 10% for each of following: charity, financial investment fund, education (more courses …lol…), Long term savings/spending (for something special … I want an SL500) and Play.
Mid term goal: repeat above except that my “necessities” would be in the 40%, and the rest divided equally.
Long Term: Start the Fyrebyrd Foundation – for the performing arts.

Your comments definitely hit the nail on the head Alvin, and going on what most people have wrote here and from my own personnel experience, I would say most are in that trap with very steep sides with no sign of a ladder. Its a frustrating place to be but people are doing it and that’s why I keep plugging away Its got to come sooner or later with hard work.
I would like to earn enough money to quit my floorlaying job and work from home without compromising my quality of life.
I would like to treat my family to a holiday and spend some quality time with them, working full time and spending hours on the computer can have its affects.

Alvin, you have a very good point about people need to do in order to materialise positive results: visualise one’s goal every day, focussing, take massive action towards the goal.
And you give direction and inspiration to us all that we can achieve what we want.
I take inspiration also in this blog from Elaine Ross. As she proves, Mind and Faith can indeed propel us to health and wealth. I am using my mind and faith in the same way to stay healthy, now am going to use them towards financial freedom.
I too have kept Atomic Blogging buried in my hard drive, driven in more than one direction by this guru and that guru.
The trouble is there are different business models in internet marketing, from blogging, to affiliate marketing to niche marketing to ebay to PLR to article marketing, and every week with are offered the latest solution.
After much waisted time and money, I realize that the best approach is to be yourself, offer your perspective, your uniqueness in your product or marketing or whatever you do online. That approach makes you different and the expert in yur category. In my line of business at my regular job, customers come to us asking “What’s new”? The papers are full of “news” which is a derivation exactly “What’s new”?
In the same way people online are looking for “The new” or “The different” or “The value” and “The solution”
Alvin Phang certainly comes with that “New, different, unique, his solution approach” and with a burning passion added to the mix. Is there a better formula to success? Isn’t that what we look and admire in celebrities, artists, authors and all?

I am not ashamed to admit I have been guilty of procrastination in my business. I just didn’t know how to start a web site that would make money online. I have just started two different sites using the WordPress platform and will be adding content to those sites.

Success to me is about achieving what I desire at the moment in time.
It can be either qualitative and/or quantitative. Some examples are : I want to exercise regularly at least 3 times a week, I want to spent 15 minutes everyday playing with my kids, speak to my parents for 10 minute everyday, achieve 5% incremental traffic every week,etc
Goals do not have to be big such that they are difficult to reach or even difficult to start. Look for small successes to build upon. Also make adjustment to the goals as situation and your perspective changes. For example, to stick to winning a $1 Million lottery as a success is an ambitious goal. It needs more than just persistence and luck. Similarly to be the president of the country will need many more successful steps in that journey.

When I started in the payday loan niche a few short months ago I was told it would be an impossible task to get ranked well for choice money keywords. One SEO company even told me it would cost at least 10 grand just to get to the first ten pages on google!
Never one to shy away from a challenge, I set out to do it alone. I chose the second highest paying keyphrase to target. I did what the so called experts said couldn’t be done – I ranked #1 for this keyphrase in just three months and have been there for almost a year now!
Moral of the story? Don’t listen to the people who will try to tell you you can’t do something – just go out and do it! If you want to make $50000/month, don’t take your advice from anyone who doesn’t!
Success to me is beating the odds and proving the experts wrong!

This is the kind of post, that goes deep into a person’s heart, anyway here’s my answer for both question.
1 – I wanted to earn $21,000 US dollar every single month online and the reason for $21,000 is because the number always appear in my dreams, hey is true, it may seems a bit weird, but still I believe in my mind.
2 – I’m not going to buy anything with that money, but invest and build a business offline which does direct marketing, that is always my goal since the day I step my foot into studying about copywriting.
I recommend since u said you dream about it a number of times… Why not you take a blank cheque and write a cheque of US$21,000 to yourself
and paste this cheque in front of your work station to see it everyday 
I done that too and I wrote $1 million in front of my desk

I truly agree with what you have to say here. 2 years trying to make money online but still nothing. To be exact, from all that I’ve done to make money online, i managed to earn 4cents only, and that is from my google adsense. (pretty frustrating huh?)
Somehow or rather I did not lose faith in the online business but, it did demotivated me and crushed my hopes with all the previous failures. I begin to learn further and understand better about ways, tips, tricks, techniques… etc… just to make money online. Most of them uses the same method and true enough, it’s the passion, desire and determination that drives you to achieve your own personal goals..
With the help from you personally and other Internet Marketers that I’ve engaged with, my learning curve on the online business has increased tremendously. Learning from their experiences gives me the expectations on what I will go through when I do my own online business. Being able to focus on the goals, I don’t see any reason why I should give up and stop now. Just like what The Secret mentioned in the book/video. That helped me a lot too.
I hope that you’ll continue your efforts to be the point of reference, a mentor, especially to those who are just beginning their journey towards earning money online. It’s always better to give, rather than receive. One lesson I learned is that the more you give, the more you will receive in return.. and that’s basically how the universe revolves around us every single day

Interesting your email should come to me at this point today.. when in fact I did make just a little money from the adsense thing I was finally able to setup. Actually I have been selling things on eBay since late last december and have built myself up now to the point where I have pretty much decided that internet sales and marketing is the way I am going to go from here on out. I spend many hours a day managing my auctions alas sales are at the mercy of how many buyers actually see my items. So I got the idea to start blogging to drive traffic to my eBay auctions. Then I remembered buying your AtomicBlogging package early last year, skimming over it then forgeting about it. Well I just dug it out of the dark recesses of my hard drive about 3 days ago and with just a very small percentage of the ideas in your book, and your clear instructions on how to implement them, I was able to make a noticable increase in traffic to my blog. Believe me I am not the impatient type. I know what hard work it is to make money online, and the fact that you need to keep at it and find new ways to expand your markets. I must admit that your information has been very helpful, so I have subscribed to your blog, and look forward to hearing what new ideas and advice you may have.
I could go on… as my story, from loosing my ‘day job’ to this point in time is a long one, but it would probably be a story more at home on my blogsite

I am just starting to learn about the internet in a business sense.
I was trying to meditate and visualize without much success, when I got angry, really angry. I decided to just watch my thoughts without trying to control them or anything. That has changed my life because I had no idea how much I was thinking of the past. Just watching thoughts changed me til I seldom think of my past.
I nursed my husband through 3 years of his agonizing illness, then after he passed and I had a breakdown, came back to reality and was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I used my mind and faith to become 200% healthy. Doctors say a miracle, I say faith and using my mind to cure my cells. I can picture all my body inside and still do it sometimes when I have allergies. Now I have to decided that I can do anything (no limits) and I am doing so. Between my breakdown and cancer I learned to drive a big rig (18 wheeler) at the young age of 58. Had to give it up to fight the cancer, but now I am so great and I am learning so many things that I am a sponge. I was placed as a junior in college 6 months ago, so I am getting an accounting degree and starting an internet business. Is not this path I am on that we call life a fantastic journey. No I did not have college before

Been there, done that. My wife and I have been trying for some time to make a go of earning a living off the internet. It can be very frustrating not knowing what to do and then getting bombarded with the next “must have” program from the experts. Seems they are not all experts as they claim and usually they don’t tell you everything-they seem to be holding back some very important information. But we have survived all this to the pioint that we have a few sites up and ruinning. Initially we would like to make in the 4-5000 dollar range per month, and progress to around 20,000 dollar per month figure. We can then pay off all our bills and help the family.
In my opinion Continuous learning is essential for me to be successful in the internet business. However, that does not meant I go round for s shopping spree for internet gurus. I think I made several mistakes by acquiring new knowledge before I could put the first learning into practice.
I shall stop shopping for internet gurus but take action on what I have learn thus far and go for results.
