What’s Your Core Desire?
I was reading the comments from you guys and it got me thinking about one real important thing when it comes to making money online. I was afraid I would forget it so I decided to blog it up first before I head to bed as it’s late here at 1:25am now 
I learnt this about 1 year ago and that was to identify your core desire which I learn from Jack Zufelt. If you are interested you can get his book here which is selling for only US$15 (great book). What I really love about what he teaches unlike many success coach, he’s one coach who teaches with no fluff, no bullshit, no fire walks and what he teaches really will allow you to see results!
I have been to many high profile success coach previews and all I can say frankly, it’s a waste of time other then being entertained by them and feeling all pumped up for that day. If you do some reality check on yourself what happens after you go home? At most times NOTHING right? I know this from experience because I have friends who spends $5,000 or more just to go for such success classes but ended up nothing better then before.
The reason I recommend everyone to either read Jack’s book or at least find out your core desire is because if I did not know what’s my core desire back then I wouldn’t be able to get the huge drive for success to be who I am today.
My Core Desire Was…
To take care of my father who is currently still handicap in some way as he got damaged in the brain and have short term memory. My mum has to look after him full time and my brother and sister studying so my core desire until today is still to provide a good living for my family and not forgetting my beautiful wife Kelly too 
How It Helped Me
Have you ever experienced a time when you are blogging and you simply just want to give up? Or have you ever asked yourself why am I wasting all my time in this and only earn US$50 a month and worst of all get all sorts of bad comments from your love ones that Internet Marketing is a waste of time?
If the above two points relates to you, then you better read this With my core desire in place, what I realized is that what ever failures or obstacles that came to me it just flew pass me easily as I wasn’t distracted by it and my fire for success was growing stronger every time they said something negative.
I know how it feels to negative so I can tell you from experience it’s no fun but every marketer has to go through this phrase of torture it’s normal If you didn’t it means you are NOT WORKING HARD enough my friend
So What’s Your Core Desire?
It’s actually 1:29am as I am writing this post and I wouldn’t bother to write such a post if I didn’t care about your success and telling you the importance of finding your core desire. What you need to do now is simply answer these following questions and comment below:

Too succeed and to be able to turn my computer on in the morning look at my bank account and say
“I done that with these hands”
To feel that satisfaction when you know you have made it, its addiction, I love the chase and the people I meet along the way.

Well to me my core desire is not about traveling and making money. What my core desire may be earn enough to support myself and not dependent on my family. Also, I want to make money because I want to give more to my family, the community, the christian missionaries, anyone who is in need during the depression..

I had started learning to make money online ( since November 08 )and I knew that if properly carried out, the money I could generate will be as good as the “best” salary I had made in my career, if not better. The hard fact is that when I reached 40s, my chances of employment reached a dipped and I have been forced to seek money elsewhere. I started exploring Network Marketing besides the part-time freelance computer repair activity that I have done for so many years and now eventually, getting into Internet Marketing. Yes the road is tough, although I have not make what I hope for, but I know it is just around the corner.

To provide a long term or residual income for my son’s future. During our time, getting a job and subsequently buy a simple 3-Rooms flat can be done in 3 to 5 years. But based on today’s situation, I think a youngster may need to double that effort and time. Practically, slaving just to get a home ?
2. Whose The Most Important Person You Want To Make Them Happy?
I have always cherish friendship and family but due to the fact that everyone is so pre-occupied with their activities or negativities, communication becomes less and less day by day. I hope to help them see the power of Network Marketing as well as Internet Marketing so that they can achieve what they want in life in a lesser time than what I have gone through. Why not 3 to 5 years rather than 40 years ? You be surprised that majority of people choose the later option !
3. Why Are You Doing What You Are Doing Today? For What Purpose?
I was always scolded or reprimanded when young for “Day Dreaming” but its only now that I realized what I have not achieve in life. I have decided to pursue Network Marketing as well as Internet Marketing to recoup what I have missed out over my 32 years of working life so that I can make what is due to me in order for me to change my lifestyle for the better.
Now I constantly tell myself about things that I have not done in the past. I.E. :
a. I am able to make the money I want very easily
b. I am able to play my part in the Charities of my choosing
c. I am saving enough money for my son University fee
d. I am traveling to the countries of my choice without monetary worries
e. I am meeting plenty of positive and enterprising people that I have not met during my working days
f. I am helping plenty of people to see the power of generating their residual income

You get a site, then you upload your content, monitize it with links, adsense, amazon, clickbank products, your product, articles, audio, video, autoresponders, freebies, newsletters, survey, email/PPC campaigns blah blah blah…
It’s an interesting subject, you hope people will check it out, subscribe, interact, learn something, find it interesting – find it – buy your book/product blah blah blah.
Hey it’s affiliate marketing and I’ve had tons of topic areas literally clogging up my system…which one will sell the best? Which topic will I make the most money out of so that I can do this marketing full time? Which topic will actually attract people to my site? I’m interested in them all…how many sites/blogs do I need? Probably a 1000 would do!
But at the end of all these questions, the one that cuts to the core is about identifying my core desire. Alvin suggests it’s not about money, although I think it’s wrapped up in there at some level.
I am a composer…I love creating music and I want to share my compositions with the world…healing/meditative/creative/inspiring etc. That’s my core desire. It’s what I need to be really focussing on.
So many opportunities get mailed to me each day…so many possibilities which can become distractions for me…Core desire/s. Is there one or more?

You’re right, you have to have a deep core desire to succeed and the faith/belief that you will get there.
I have just been taught a neat trick that is helping me. When you go to sleep or wake up, think about what you want and then say out loud “find” three times and then repeat this again to your self quietly.
Gets your sub conscious working for you so new ideas keep popping into your mind. Really works!!!

You are so right on with this. A deep rooted desire has power. This is how we will drive through and past what then seems trivial compared to the deep desire. When discvered, this core desire can push you through even the habitual unconscious automatic programming we normally allow to govern much of our thought and behavior. We can even more easily step into the face of our fears, doubts and worries.
And yes, there is something deep and meaningful to eveyone that is far stronger than the desire for money. Unconsciously we know money is a vehicle. Having a pot of money is no different than having a pot of water, that you do nothing with. The value is in what you want to do with the water – what is water sitting in a vat?
Aquiring money may be a step to assit with getting what you deeply want, but not necessarily. Focusing on the core desire will always bring you more power than focusing on an intermediate step. And once we can see through our surface desires for things to help us be happy, we most often find that core desires have something to do with helping or serving others.
