Project Jesus Giving Dec 2011
On 28th Aug 2011 , I got baptize as Christian and I would say it’s the best thing that happen in my life. Ever since that day, everything seems smooth sailing and things started to work right most of the time.
I was blessed with great gifts and sales in my business so I decided I want to give back to the community. For the 1st time in my life, I decided to set off to a place I wasn’t very familiar with and decided to do a mini project giving in the name of Jesus.
So I did on the 2th Dec 2011 I went to Philippines and when I arrived there, the first thing I did was visit a local church to find some help in my mission
That’s how the church look like and after I visited the church and inform them of what I was about to do I went off to buy the stuff at a local super market.
Total we bought 20 sacks of rice (2000kg) rice, 800 cans of meat loaf, 800 bags, 800 biscuits, 3200 noodles, 1600 cans of sardines ( total about US$3500 worth of stuff ) to create 800 goodie bags.
Here’s a video of the packing
The next following day, the members are the church were nice enough to help me out and start the packing process
These were the stuff that contain in each bag
We managed to packed a total of 800 bags in total!
The first place we went to donate was at a old folks home
I donated 8 sacks of rice ( 400kg) and lots of other stuff! It was a moment I will never forget seeing how much they really need the rice and they told me it was just nice that I gave the rice as they just ran out of it
Here’s a little video of the old folk home
The next day we went to another area to donate 300 bags here’s some pictures.
Here’s a video of the gift giving of 300 bags
After we were done with that we head on to the church to donate the next 500 bags!
