Core Values To Get People To Love What You Sell
Sadly in this century not many people today establish trust and values in their careers and business. Instead, most would focus around the temptation of greed and power to get what we want in our careers and careless about how others think about us.
Having the right core values is the most important aspects of running any business or career as it will lay out the foundation you will need to improve your relationship with customers to get them to trust you more and love what you sell.
Here’s the thing, if you want to get people to love what you sell you first have to establish the trust with them that you are someone who is seen as sincere and honest.
Large companies today struggle to get the trust factor and now are looking to market to individuals than to the masses because in the current new generation of marketing it is all about marketing to the individual.
Here’s an example of Coke’s marketing successful campaign of sharing the core value of showing love to others and it indirectly made people love Coke more 🙂
So how do you establish a great trust in your customers to get people loving what you have to offer or sell?
The Golden Rules of Selling Love
“Do to others as you would have them do to you” – Luke 6:31
Many times I believe when I was a young businessman I was taught only to serve myself. I learnt many tactics and strategies by Gurus who are only keen on controlling and deceiving others by using tactics of persuasion. While there is nothing wrong with the tactics. However, long-term use of such tactics would influence the wrong group of the target audience to your business.
If you continue to ignore the important or relating to how others view your business or career you will find that less and fewer people would trust and love what you have to offer.
“Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good” – Romans 12:9
What I learnt through the years of running the business that marketing has changed due to the growing trend of social media. People trust people’s comments and feedback to determine the ethics of a company’s brand and products. That is why selling LOVE in today’s context is even more so important to show to others that you are real and sincere in your products and service so that others would recommend them.
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.” – 1 Corinthians 13:4
However, having the care and love to others is not enough. Many times we may also lack patient and kindness to others. We boast about how great our products and services but in reality, no one bothers as it is about the individual you are talking and not you.
People do not care about you unless you show interest into their lives & being able to empower them is what that matters to most people especially cold leads 🙂

Many years ago when I first start in the MMO ( make money online ) niche, most people including myself would tell many people about how much money we make to attract people to worship us and learn from us how we make money.
However, if you do that in today’s context, you will find that consumers today are wiser and many have already been cheated by various scams online, and therefore they are very careful who they choose to believe and buy from today.
That is why being humble is the key to marketing today as it will show to others your real reason to love others. When that is established, trust is growth as well.
“Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrong ” – Proverbs 10:12
Have you ever wonder why at times you have conflicts with others or your customers. The key factor is hatred causes conflict with overs. To avoid such cases, it will be wise to show love instead to cover all wrong doings and ask them to forgive you.
Remember It Starts With You Showing Love
So here you have it my basic simple rules of showing love to others so that others will love what you have to offer and sell to customers.
I would encourage to follow these principles closely, and after one week of trying them, I am very sure you will see a big difference in your business and life.
