Every marketer always talks about making money, I thought a good way to give back to the community is to do some charity!
So Here’s The Challenge!
The top 10 bloggers who manages to contribute the most amount of donation within 6 days from their readers wins!
Objective Of This Challenge:
To encourage all bloggers to contribute to charity!
Start Date: 5th May 2010 EDT (USA) / 6th May 2010 (SG, Australia)
End Date: 11th May 2010 EDT (USA) / 12th May 2010 For (SG, Australia)
Submission Date: 11th May 2010 EDT (USA) / 12th May 2010 (SG, Australia)
Rules:
- All donation must be done through own paypal account
- All donations will go direct to Red Cross!
- A minimum of donation collected US$50 is needed to qualify for points
- You give away products of your own as gift to encourage donations
- Bloggers may participant the challenge at any period during the challenge.
- Every blogger who is taking part in this challenge MUST write on their blogs they are taking part in this challenge and link to this blog post
- Include the following footer message in the blog post

Do Red Cross have a Paypal address or do we send them a cheque?
They don’t have a paypal address so what you can do is go to red cross website and use your own money to do the donation

For your info, Asian countries are not allowed to have paypal donation button. I confirmed this with paypal on the phone before. So I guess I create a payment button instead.

I just called up Paypal and verified with “Jason Wang” from the Customer Solution department. You are allow to create a “Buy Now” button on your blog stating it’s a donation for red cross. Once the money is receive you can then after transfer the money to Red Cross it fine
As you mention, the donation featured is disabled in Asia only so what I did is I provided the code above which you can use to generate the button on your blog
I will be checking out the blogs later on around tomorrow as I am currently busy
