i thought swot analysis just for business, but we can use it for our blogs.
Nope nope. The classic SWOT analysis is for anything in the world. It is a great model to set your mind into evaluating how good your idea is. How good your idea can withstand against your future competitors.
You can also take it as your balanced score card for you to evaluate your idea.
These are my opinions and hopes it helps.

SWOT analysis is an extremely powerful tool, and I like the way you’re thinking in applying it to ones blog. The truth hurts sometimes, but it will definitely serve to highlight your shortcomings and allow you to introduce remedies to rectify any issues you might have. Back to basics analysis is what it takes if you’re not making headway.
