Johan Mok & Matt Bacak’s Internet Millionaire Incubator

Similar to World Internet Summit is Johan and Matt’s Internet Millionaire Incubator, I was busy lately attending the 3 day massive Internet event.

As you can see above, there were quite a lot of people who came for the event. Close to about 500+ people were there to attend the event. What was interesting about this event was there were about 16 speakers line up at one single event!

I had a few objectives when I attend seminars, most often I am not there to learn new information or buy stuff but just to network with other marketers to build upon my business.

Tip: Next time you go for such events make an effect to know at least 10 gurus or friends who can boost your business!

I did not really aspect to learn anything new but to my amazement I learn some new tactics from some of the Gurus at the event.

The first speaker that went on stage was actually Matt Bacak who was an expert in building leads online. Of all the speakers I felt Matt’s presentation had the most impact to me as he was a real honest speaker in trying to deliver real content to us.

Here’s a photo I taken with him below =)

Out everything he talked about one thing he said really stuck me was your online income is determine by the number of email leads you have. He actually treats his email list numbers like his ATM machine!

And what he said was truth about the number of leads you have is almost equal to the income you earn because I do make a 5 figure income online and my leads is also some where there too =)

Another reason I wanted to attend the event was to take a photo with Johan.. haha! Because my goal is to be able to take photos with all the Gurus I can find in Singapore rather then me flying there =X

Here’s a photo for Johan below

If you are new to these seminars I would say it was catered really well for newbies goers where we were exposed with how Internet business can be started quickly and so on. However as we all know when we go to such events, there is no such thing as a FREE lunch. There were countless amount of pitching but some how my thick skin managed to filter them away.. haha.. =P

While sitting there learning I also had a chance to form up our very own cyber cafe with my students and friends =) Here’s a photo of our cyber cafe!

On top of just learning from the Gurus, what I love is to learn new resources to build upon my business to get more traffic.

New Resources I Learn At The Seminar

PRWebDirect - A Online Press Release Website
SpeakerNetNews - A Solo Ad Advertising Website Targeted To Motivation Speaking
Ezines-R-Us - Lots of Different Targets Can Be Found Here For Solo Ads
NewsMax - A Website On Big Money To Do Solo Ads
SelfGrowth - Self Development Solo Ads

I hope you find them useful because I did as I was not aware of such websites that can be used to advertise online! New media to advertise and drive traffic again!

Hi Alvin,

Your cybercafe group with you was definitely noticeable. Always sitting at the same spot throughout the 3 days.

I guess like for all low priced (US$1) seminars, seeing a pitch nearing the end of the presentation is to be expected. Nonetheless I agree with you. Whilst most material are mainly for newbies, there is still definitely pointers here and there that we can glean valuable information from.

But you must agree. Some of the pitches were really crappy. Won’t name names here, but one example would be paying close to $6k to be an licensee (or you might as well call it affiliate). Or hearing about a networking membership portal opportunity(filled with resale & public domain material) being compared to myspace.com, imagine the audacity. Nonetheless a newbie is born everyday, and as long as greed exists. People will continue to fuel and buy such programs.

Regards,
Alvin Huang

Yups. Was behind sitting a few rows behind you with my friends. I’m shy so never said hi. Haha.

Can’t blame him for trying to make a living? Hmm….but that doesn’t justify that super high price tag. In my opinion, the rationale of making a living doesn’t justify that.

I guess in general there will always be packages providing quality ranging from low value to high value. But 6k for that? That’s just super low trashy value. Guess those in the coaching industry have to be less negative towards each other openly else they spoil potential JVs and friendships.

Regards,
Alvin Huang
