Step 5 – Marketing Plan

Now that you have understood what are the things you need to do to setup your online business. You can need to setup your game plan how you want to market your business.

The key to any Internet Business online is Traffic. There are only 3 ways you can do that, either you buy it, steal it or redirect it.

Let talk about buying traffic, the best way to buy targeted traffic for your business is from per per click advertisement. But be warn it can be very costly if you do not know what you are doing and over spent what you should not be spending.

Other more effective ways to buy traffic are newsletter advertisements that you can simply place your advertisements in people’s newsletter. When choosing a newsletter to blast to, be very sure the database of subscribers are related to your niche product to get the maximum results from it.

The cheapest but slowest way to get targeted traffic is by stealing traffic. There are many free ways you can steal traffic. Writing articles and posting them on article directories are the cheapest and most effective way to not only position yourself as an expert but also allows people to know more about you and sent them going to your website.

Redirect traffic are actually using of free traffic exchanges, which are seriously not very effective as mainly people who surf these traffic exchanges are the freebies market which is not what we are really looking for.

It is important to plan your marketing plan well and do be consistence on your plans. DO NOT ever let poor results stop you from progressing your plan. As results will happen as you get better and better at getting traffic

Step 6 – Monetization

Now that you have a game plan, you have tons of traffic for your website it is time for you to monetize on your traffic. Insert in last minute offers and backend products to sell to your customers. Giving your customers a wider range of products to choose from will allow not only you to increase in profits but convert your existing customers to purchase even more from you.

Other ways to monetize your efforts, you can start selling advertisement space on your website site. Or even insert Adsense on your blogs.

If you are marketing your online product, monetized your viewers and email list to inform them that they can be part of your business by being an affiliate of your business.
