This is no surprised people love to buy information products online because marketers would always try to promise the overwhelming results with so called “shortcuts” to success to make money online just to give you an impression you get to make money really fast. But the truth is there is no such thing as shortcuts, I been doing this for 2 years now and I very well know there is no such thing as a “quick fix” to make money online fast! If you are still thinking there is such a thing please stop thinking that way.

But the question also some of you guys may be thinking, if I say all these products that is so hyped up people still buy them do that actually work? Well the TRUTH IS THEY DO MOST OF THE TIME! I truly believe every digital information product out there is a good product but the problem does not lies in the product creator but the problem only lies IN YOU! The truth is SYSTEM ALWAYS WORK, PEOPLE DONT! The first type of hype I ever learn in experience is to learn how to play around with sales number and commission. Some of you guys may not like this, but all I want to do here is to exposed to you the truth behind how we hype stuff so that you are aware what we do Very often in selling information products especially so when it comes to products that says you can make huge lots of money we would always show really nice cheque figures.

Are these figures for real? Well in most cases yes ( because you can actually can sued for lying or posting fake claims ), but some of you guys may not be aware the cheques shown may be totally not related to what the guy is actually selling on. For instance if someone claim they make huge cheques from a program and show wondering cheques of his earning. However the truth fact sometimes the money cheques shown is actually coming from promoting another programs that was much more successful. Basically what we do is to recycle the cheques screen shots to be display to make your money cheques “look nicer”.

Are they lying? Well not really, you can still use them but all you need to do is to craft your sales copy to say like “Here Are The Cheques I Made Online” but did you noticed I did not say where it’s from So that’s a small example what is hype marketing about, you only expose some potion of the story but not the entire whole story or you take something that is actually a really small thing but just that you blown up on some facts you have

  • Fact: He really earn that US$5,600 but what some do not know he has spent US$4,000 on PPC to make that earnings

So as you can see from the examples above, you will noticed hyping is about making a story big but simply you dont exposed the entire truth behind all claims you want to do you just exposed the good side of it However if you feel this is really unethical that I strongly don’t recommend you do it, but what I want to say is everyone online who sells digital information is doing it and sooner or later you will realized if you want to make really big money online you have to do it sooner or later
Why Do You Want To Learn How To Hype Stuff Up?

If you are thinking of making really lots of money online, it’s not doubt a fact that people love to buy info products that is really hyped up! However, let me give you some warning when you hype things up DO NOT GO OVER THE LINE and lie you will get backfire and simply bring your business down!

Here are some tips and rules in doing hype

1. Always and ALWAYS only show real cheques
2. Never lie about your earnings, people will know!
3. Show sales figures rather then net amount to make your earning larger
4. Show earning spikes that you have earn in short periods of time, example I earn US$5,000 in 7 days but make sure you have the screen shot to prove it
5. Always use screen shots to prove yourself
6. Be honest if possible

While I was scanning through some of the blogs in the hall of fame, I do noticed that most people when it comes to promoting a product they always do it the wrong way.

Some great ways I did this was by teaching people something really useful and just recommend tools and resources for them to compliment the tips. I was browsing around my email and I noticed there were lots of people who want to blog but have no clue what to write on. So I thought why not I share with you my secrets tips how you can find ideas easily and start writing powerful content for your blog.

Before I go into the details, I like to share with you also how do you know if a content you write on your blog is of quality content. The best proven method to find out is to write only content that have benefited you before and share it with your readers. In that way, you know what you write will be useful for others because it has helped you before in your experience

Tip #1 - Survey Your Readers

If you have a mailing list, I would highly recommend you try doing a survey with your readers to ask them what they would like to know. In blogging, you want to try to interact with your readers as much as you can. By doing a survey, you are not only able to understand your readers better but you can deliver content based on what your readers tell you.

Tip #2 - Read What Other Bloggers Are Talking About

To get more ideas and topics to write on, you can easily find more ideas by simply visiting other people’s blog to see what they are writing about. Or you can simply even write reviews on what you have found on the internet and tell your readers

Tip #3 - Go To A Bookstore And Look At The Content Page

I love to do this a lot and no one uses this really often except me I think What you need to do is, let say you have selected a niche topic like “blogging”. All you need to do is head on to a bookstore and pick up at least one book or two and look at the content page of the book. You will be surprised, you can find pretty much lots of topics you can write about just by looking at the content page of your book. I get lots of my ideas and topics mostly from books which are proven stuff people want to know about in that niche.

Tip #4 - Get More Topics From Online Article Directories

Another great way to find content is by searching in article directories on your topic to find topics to write on. You will be amazed the amount of topics you can find in any topic you are researching on.

Some Important Pointers

In writing content, here are some important pointers you should also take note to safe guard yourself.

1. You cannot copy people’s content word by word, but you can reword them
2. If you are to copy someone’s article you must give credit to the person who wrote it in your article
3. Ideas and concepts are not copyright, so you can use them to your advantage.

Since the last post I wrote about the “Top 5 Reasons Why People Fail In Making Money Online” I realized you guys have a major problem that need to be solved not 1 year later non tomorrow but RIGHT NOW.

As I was reading the comments, I realized a few of you guys have problems knowing how to plan a marketing plan for your online business. To be really successful in any online business you really need to know how to plan your time and things to do in your business. Because without planning and taking massive action on your plan you will not be able to measure your results to your efforts to get the end result you want.

I would not say this is a full proof marketing plan, but what I share here is basically what I have been practicing myself and it works for me In any business regardless it’s online or offline you MUST have a marketing plan. Just in case you do not know what is that, a marketing plan is basically a sequence of stuff you plan to do within a certain amount of time to marketing a product or service.

To start making money from your marketing plan, you first need to write down what are your goals and objectives and time frame for your marketing plan.

Marketing Plan Example

Goal: 100 hits
Duration: 7 days
Marketing Method: Article Marketing Only
Amount Of Work Per Day: To publish 1 articles every day
Product To Marketing: Atomic Blogging
Targeted End Results: At least 1 sale (US$35 Commission)

*Do note you do not want to set your money goals or target goals too high as you will get yourself disappointed easily, it is only adviceable to set only achievable goals and targets to ensure you do not stress yourself too much

Once you have already decided on your plan of action for your marketing plan. This is the part where most people fail, you really need to be consistency taking action on your marketing plan and seriously doing it EVERY SINGLE DAY to get the most out of it! So for the example above mention, I will actually post an article every day just to target to hit 100 hits in 7 days.

You MUST Check Your Results Every Day

Then after, at the end of each day there is one more thing you need to do that many people always fail to do which is to track your results you get from your efforts. So let say you posted one article to promote a product. You have to find out using tracking tools how many hits actually went to the product page to determine your results. So lets say you only get like 5 hits from just posting 1 article in 1 day.

From there, you will need to evaluate your results. Will you be able to hit your 100 hits by the end of the 7 days if you continue to do just 1 article a day? Well the answer is obviously NO! Well with only 5 hits in 1 day with 1 article that’s really impossible, so that means you need to do some adjustments to your plan and increase the amount of effort needed, which is to post not just one article but maybe 5 or more articles per day

As each day past by, you will track the results at the end of each day and adjust your efforts as you go along. One note PLEASE DO NOT STOP doing the process and be consistence and do it all the way to end of the 7 days. Even if half way you met your goals like mention above, you must still continue on the process of marketing until the end of the 7 days please.

At The End Of The Campaign Here What To Do!

At the end of the 7 days, what you will do again is to summarized your results in one nice excel sheet with the hits and results you got on each day and how much sales you got. So let say after 7 days you get 100 hits from submitting 15 articles and resulted in 2 sales which is equal to US$70. So what you can do with these figures you need to find out what is your conversion ratio number to sale. So you will take (2 sales *100 hits)/100 which is 2% conversion.

With this conversion number now you now know that every 100 hits you get from article writing you get 2 sales to make US$70. So let’s say you want to make US$240 next week just target to get 300 hits from articles it’s that simple to be successful online It’s just involved really lots of effort guys no kidding

I was actually having a meeting just yesterday and for some reason I had a calling to write about this topic as I felt you guys really need to know this. Before you proceed I do have to apologize first if I used any hash words in this article as I am trying to show you some real facts to help you out I did online business for about 2 year already and I realized doing online business is actually not for everyone. This is especially so if you are currently depending on a “JOB” to make a living, in order to first start a successful online business you must first be able to throw away that employee mindset and take on the business owner mindset.

Doing internet marketing is hard work no kidding guys, I spend on the average at least 5 to 10 hours per day when I first started in Internet Marketing So if you do not have the business mindset and a sense of ownership you will not succeed. That’s so much for the mindset so what are the top 5 reasons why people fail in making money online?

Reason #1 - Did Not Focus

This is a really common mistake made by many time and time again, if you want to succeed in something you first need to know how to focus. I have seen countless number of times people who tried to open a blog and start talking about virtually everything from dog training to forex on their blogs. By doing so, you are actually not helping yourself and you are just planning yourself for failure. If you want to succeed, you should start thinking about focusing on only related topics and selected products that you want to sell online. This was actually taught to me by my mentor by then and I really did plan and focus and surprised the results you get when you focus can be overwhelming

Reason #2 - No Time

Again this is a really common problem I guess everyone has which is lack of time! To be frank, only people who are still in the employee mindset will have this type of thinking saying that they always have no time. Well I have been doing business since I was 18 year old and to be frank with you, there is always time to spare. It really depends how you allocate your time and what is more important for you

Just a word of advice, if you are not willing to spend more time for your online business what makes you think you can succeed without doing any work

Reason #3 - Information Overload Or Apply For Expensive Courses

This is a real common problem everyone including myself also faced and it’s even more common when ever I go for events where I see people simply just pay $3,000 to $5,000 for courses hoping to find a quick fix for their online business. The truth is that, even if you go for the courses or buy information product but if you did not bother to try them out and TAKE ACTION, I can ensure you will not succeed regardless how hard you try to keep on learning new stuff.

I was in similar shoes like you guys before, whenever I got something new in my hands. I would actually try to learn everything but end of the day I realized I did not even do a single thing about what I have learn. Do you know why? It’s real simple actually, the truth is that we are just plan LAZY to take action on them I know some of the words here I used are a bit hash but it’s the true fact, everyone who is not successful are just plan lazy and do not take action.

So what should you do when you faced information overload or not too sure on some stuff? Well ask friends, ask your mentors or go online to research on them! Do not just sit on it, go out there on the internet and find the answers you need and do them Never let something you are not sure stop you from making money online because I can bet with you everyone is equally lazy but if you want to succeed always do more then what is needed to succeed that’s what a real successful business man has

Reason #4 - Lack Of Consistency

If you are new to making online money, please listen to what I am about to say because this point is really true. I remember when I first started blogging, I got absolutely no clue if what I do would make money to be frank. But I was determined to make money from it so I worked really hard to put content on the blog almost everyday on the blog. If you think you can start an online business and start making those thousands of dollars which you see what others earn in one day well you can slowly DREAM ON! The true fact is that it will not happen unless you have a firm plan for your business and being really consistence in your work then will you be able to see the results you desire!

The recommended time frame to seriously try out any online business would be at least 6 months into it before you can determine doing online business is for you. Here’s are some real facts I gathered from some of my friends and myself

- I only made my first US$1,000 after 8 months of doing online business
- My friend from Ebay actually takes 6 months to start earning from her listings
- Ewen Chia a great friend of mine took well over 5 years before he became really successful online
- Another friend into the design niche spend well over 6 months+ before he started generating about US$1,000 per month

So as you can see, what you see on the outside may not always be true But what I can promise you if you are consistence in your work and really spend the time marketing your website or blog you WILL SEE RESULTS that you desire

Reason #5 - Spend Too Much Time On Learning

I remember about a year ago when I was a real newbie back then, I had met lots of friends at events who simply just keep on signing up for expensive courses and kept on learning but never seem to make money. I even know a friend of mine who spend well over $12,000 in attending internet courses but was he successful? Well hardly from the last time I met him and do you know why? The courses that he sign up were all in different niches and topics, from PPC, Article Marketing, Affiliate Marketing , Book Publishing and much more. Can you be an expert on all the topics? Well the truth is you CANT! Do not be the jack of trades and master of none! Focus on being an expert in something that’s my advice for you if you want to succeed.

I realized especially newbies, we tend to be over excited by information and just want to keep on learning and learning new stuff. But if you keep on doing that you are really planning yourself for failure. How do I know that? Well I did that exactly for 4 months and I only make only US$100 max per month During that 4 months, I just was too busy learning and learning new stuff but I realized 80% of my free time was spend on learning and 20% of my time was into implementation and testing. If you really want to succeed you should do the opposite SPEND MORE TIME TAKING ACTION in fact at least 80% of your free time should be spend on taking action!

Summary

So that’s it guys, here are the top 5 reasons why people fail in making money online, I do have to aplogized if I used any hash words in this article but what I really want you to take back is “SYSTEMS ALWAYS WORK, IT’S PEOPLE THAT FAIL” One factor that really help me to be where I am doing also because I really got a strong desire to succeed, not because I want to make money but I MUST MAKE MONEY! Just recently, I bought some stuff at Amazon and purchase 5 new books on marketing and blogging and I was amazed the amount of packaging they did just to sent me 5 books. Check out the the big package I receive to my door.

I have not managed to read all 5 books yet, but I managed to read about 3 chapters of one book called “Word Of Mouth Marketing”.

In that book it explained the various kinds of marketing there was and there was one aspect of marketing I felt was more powerful then any form of marketing out there and that was CtoC Marketing that was mentioned in the book.

CtoC Marketing simply means consumers marketing to consumers by word of mouth and I realized while I was creating Atomic Blogging 2.0, lots of marketing of the product was already done before I even released the book. That was only possible when I was promoting Atomic Blogging 1.0, I seriously spend lots of time and effort to ensure my customers had lots of value out of the purchase and given them tons of valuable resources. I am pretty much a customer oriented person so when Atomic Blogging 2.0 actually launched, it had a great impact and word was spreading around the Internet about how great Atomic Blogging 2.0 was.

However, in order to do that you have to ensure your product and company is of good quality and consumers really benefit from the product so that people would recommend friends to your business. To make a good quality product just be honest in your products and give real practical solutions that solve people’s problems.

As I was reading further into the further chapter of the book, there was another point mentioned in the book that really shocked me. It recommended to get the best effect from Word Of Mouth Marketing all you need to do is to be real honest in your business. If you are my customer, you would know I am really generous and honest in every product I create However, sadly I do not see this always happen in some of friend’s business or websites. As most online business owners are just looking for that one time sale and the support and updates is always lacking in their products.

What I realized when you are honest to your customers, you will tend to get really generous and nice feedback ( in some rare cases there are nasty ones too but we cannot satisfy everyone can we ) from your customers and you also build a good relationship with your consumers which means more $$$ for you too
