When I first learn about Internet Marketer I did not realized the importance of this until I got started into it. This process is really important if you are serious about making money online regardless if you are a blogger or online marketing who is trying to make money online. What am I talking about? Well it’s called Web Matrix Conversion.

What Is Web Matrix Conversion?

To make money online, it’s all about the numbers. If you want more commission or sales, you just need more traffic it’s that simple. However on top of just traffic itself, it is also important to know what is the web matrix conversion of your clicks. Here’s a real screen shot of how you should track your traffic to sales.

Here is a break down to explain to you the different columns on the image.

Raw Clicks - Number of people who click, can be the same person
Unique Clicks - Number of unique clicks
Actions - Action been tracked, can be opt-in or click on link
Sales - Sale of product
Cost To Action - The percentage to a action
Cost To Sale - The percentage to a sale
Avg Cost Per Click - Cost of every click
Cost Per Action
Cost Per Sales
Cost
Revenue
Profit

Each row you see above actually represents a different campaign set for different things that you want to track on. From the diagram, what you really want to take note of is actually the CTS percentage number. A good CTS number would be the range of 1% to 10%, there marketers out there who even get as high as 50% CTS and normally it’s pretty rare will they share what they do to get that amount of conversion. So if you get a CTS of 1% for 100 clicks, that means you get one sale every time 100 click and see the website.

So regardless if you getting 10 hits or 100 hits a day to the programs you want to sell, it’s really important to know what are the conversion of your efforts are. In that way you will be able to determine how many clicks you will need to get $X with X clicks!

Just recently I just managed to upgrade my computer again with some extra new gadgets - I am a nerd freak when it comes to gadgets. Blogging is not a easy occupation to start with. Many people who have met me in person before most often would relate me as a full time blogging making money online.

Making money from blogging is really fun but I thought I share just some insiders and things you may require when you start your journey into blogging.

Here Are The 5 Blogging Standard Operating Procedures To Make Money Online

Step 1 - Do A Survey On What Your Readers Like To Read About

It is always very important to know what your customers or readers like to know more about. You can find out easily by just asking your audience. An example I did was at this post where I ask them what are their top 3 problems that people face online.

What you can do with that information is you can gather the information and create a product or service around it. In that way your readers will love more about what you want to write about and in return help to solve their problems.

Step 2 - Open Your Creative Mindset

There is no right or wrong in blogging but what you need to do after you found out what your readers want, you would want to start to think of ideas or articles you can write to cater to your audience. Do not worry if you feel the information is really simple because trust me there are still hundreds of people online who will not know what you know.

Keep your articles short and sweet and to the point but also remember to be honest and speak from your heart as readers will be able to tell if you are trying to lie.

Step 3 - Promote Your Blog Post

Many people who blog online always fail to do this important step and expect traffic to automatically just appear out of no where. The thing is you WILL NEVER get traffic if you do not promote your blog post. So what you should do is start telling your friends about your blog post or go to forums and post your content in there.

Step 4 - Post The Same Article Into Article Directories

Since you have already spend the time to write the blog post, you would want to leverage on the articles you have and post them on article directories to drive more traffic to your main blog. Just remember the focus is to promote your blog in return to collect leads for your business.

Step 5 - Collecting And Built Leads

Building a strong readership on a blog is important but what is more important is you have to collect leads from your blog too. Without collecting people’s contact details there will be no way you can communicate with them later on if you like to do so. How much you want to make from your blog or business will most likely determine by the number of leads and readership you have a blog. So start building leads today if you have not done so. I was going through a home study course and learn something new today so I thought I share it with you guys. What I am about to share is going to open up your eyes so do take some notes before you proceed.

There are many products in Clickbank but what really determines product can sell? Well many people are not aware that actually Clickbank does provide these information in the marketplace. Here’s is an example how it looks like.

Here’s an explanation what the above numbers are taken from Clickbank

1. $Earned/Sale: Average net amount earned per affiliate per referred sale. Note that this is the net earned per actual sale, and so it is impacted by refunds, chargebacks, and sales taxes. Unfunded sales, such as returned checks, do not impact this number.

2. Future $: Average total rebill revenue earned by the affiliate due to sales from a site. Generally this equates to the average sum of all rebills.

3. Total $: The sum of all initial sales and rebills divided by the number of initial sales. It is the average total $ per sale, including all rebills that may come from that sale.

4. %Earned/Sale: Average percentage commission earned per affiliate per referred sale. This number should only vary if the publisher has changed their payout percentage over time.

5. %Referred: Fraction of publisher’s total sales that are referred by affiliates.

6. Gravity: Number of distinct affiliates who earned a commission by referring a paying customer to the publisher’s products. This is a weighted sum and not an actual total. For each affiliate paid in the last 8 weeks we add an amount between 0.1 and 1.0 to the total. The more recent the last referral, the higher the value added.

Here’s A Secret Not Many Are Aware

To determine if a product on Clickbank is profitable you can actually determine by two important numbers the Gravity and the $Earned/sale. Gravity tells you the growth of the product in the past 8 weeks the higher the number means the popular is getting more sales and more popular on the marketplace.

The $Earned/sale will help you determine the account of refund the product has. Before I get into the refund formula you first need to find out how much the product sells online currently.

Firstly you have to visit the product page, for this example it’s at this link here where it sells at retails for US$77 which is called the Retail Price.

If you actually calculate your commission which is 61%, your calculator should show you 46.97, instead it says affiliates earn $36.04 only? Well that’s because Clickbank commission, which is 7.5% + $1. Calculate it with the product price: it take you to approximately $6.77.

Now the actual total profit for affiliates and the merchant is $70.23. Affiliates earn : 61% from $70.23, which results approximately $42.84

Earned per sale is only 36.04, which affiliates will earn for each sale, where was the rest $6.80 gone? it goes to the refund!

Here’s how you calulate the refund rate: ($6.80 / $42.84) x 100% = 15.87% refund rate. It means that this product is not too bad in quality. Guideline find product with refund rates below 25% should be quite alright.

When I found out about this I decided to go around Google to search if there were tools to help me monitor profitable Clickbank and this is what I found.

It’s call CBEngine which I think the FREE version tells you enough information to find basic information without showing you the important momentum numbers you see above. What you seen above is only available in the paid version you can actually track and monitor which products in which niches you are doing that is highly profitable and I think this tools will be pretty useful for those who are doing Internet Marketing full time .

If you have been hearing from friends or neighbors that people are making money online and still quite skeptical about it. Well I will be very frank with you it’s 100% truth! However, only 10% of the hundreds of people starting online business every day succeed. If you like to know what they did, I would recommend you take some paper or open a note pad to take down some notes.

The myth about people making online is very real! From my 16 months of experiencing marketing online and making a nice living now from it many online marketers would always buy books or courses to learn from. In fact even I myself started reading courses online before I actually knew how people make money online. Most of the time I would using my guide book as the stepping stone to remind me of the process involved before I even get start making money online.

Step 1 - Find Out What You Like Best

Before you even start finding out niches or things you want to sell you have to list down at least 10 hobbies or interest that you have currently. PLEASE DO NOT miss this important step as it totally changed my life after I did just this simple work. When you fill up this list of 10 things you love to do the most you would instantly know what is your strong points and every individual have their own strong points.

Step 2 - Do A Research Online

There are many online research tools you can find online and some even require you to pay a premium to find out what people are looking for online. However lots of people made lots of mistake when it comes to keyword research. Keyword research cannot be done in just one day, normally a proper keyword research will take about 3 full days to complete. I often would use this free tool to check on the search phrases and demand online.

Also because the data collected is not 100% accurate and some even say it’s useless as many SEO experts would agree but at least there is some form of references you can compare online. The free tool shown just now will actually show you what is the keyword demand that people are looking for online. So let’s say we type in Internet Marketing , you will find a demand of over 178,835 search per month in Overture’s network and a competition of 392,000,000 for the term Internet Marketing. Some SEO Experts claim that is the wrong way to search as it’s a broad term search. Some SEO Experts would just use “Internet Marketing” then Internet Marketing to search for competition online, however I find it strange to do that as most often who would type in “Internet Marketing” in Google? Not really many I must say.

Because of that reason I always use normal phrase to search for competition to find really good niches with little competition to feed the demand online.

Step 3 - Feet The Need

Once you have found a keyword that has high demand and low competition, you would know exactly what type of need people need online. And all you need to do is go to networks like Clickbank or CJ to find products to feed those need.

Here are just some of the HOTTEST niches online
1. Sex
2. Vigra
3. Gambling
4. Real Estate
5. Loans
6. Make Money Online

You will noticed most of the niches online are pretty much what human real need are. Although it is not widely said online but it’s no doubt that Sex is the No.1 niche market on the Internet. You will be suprised the amount of money generate for both Sex and Gambling itself it’s HUGE!

Step 4 - Generate Traffic And List

As a full time blogger and internet marketer, I found out that using blogs and squeeze page are the two most powerful tools you can use to grab leads online. This blog you are reading is generating over 10 to 20 leads per day! That’s CRAZY if you ask me. Why are leads important? For one simple reason, you need customers to communicate with so that you can update them with the latest products and services

Step 5 - Focus And Create A Game Plan

Many people fail to make money online because they lack to focus their attention online and it can be easily distracting especially when you are running your business at home where your bed is SO CLOSE to you.. haha. It takes lots of patience actually to see some form of results when you start your online business. I remember my first cheque I got online was only $17.80, although it was small but that money earn did not require me to be around to do say as I really hate off line sales talk.

1. Teaching People How To Make Money From Blogs

I forgot where I heard this phrase before but my friend told me there are only 5 things in life you can make lots of money from.

When I first heard about this 1 year ago, I was very sure at that time I only was doing number 4. Amazingly what I realized regardless of what niche you are in that is related to money, if you are able to teach them how you can use your methods to make money you can make lots of money too!

Although I still make more money online then teaching people off line but it is always nice to have some extra money in hand to support my parents. But sadly I also know that almost 80% of people who are trying to make money from teaching others how to off line did not really care if the students understood the knowledge given. Hopefully if you are one of them too you may want to consider to really take care of your students so that your students will bring you more customers in the end.

DO NOT under estimate this method, because I have personally done it before and I seen friends who are a total no body can charge a fee as high as $200 to $300 per hour just for consultation. If you listen to Tracy’s interview which I did 3 days ago, she earn a whopping $5,000+ from just doing one consultation and service for one client only.

Not only can you do consultation, you can also provide valuable services like graphic designing which is current charge at a rate of US$50 per simple graphic or if you know how to write you can easily setup a service to help others to write for US$5 to US$10 per article depending of the number of words.

3. Create A Product of Your Own And Sell It Online

Most people fail to do this part because it is not easy to create a product that sells. I used to come from a off line business mindset and I used to spent over $6,000 for my shop off line but what I found strange was that many people are not even willing to spent about $200 for their online business to start with. Personally I am also guilty of that but after a while I started to think differently and now I spent more on my online business. It is pretty weird if you ask me as all you need to start a online business is to buy a domain name and get a hosting account which compared to a off line business a shop rental itself only can cost 10 times more!

However you cannot just simply create a product and not market it. 90% of people online normally will not bother to market it and that is the MAJOR reason why people DO NOT make money online because they fail to do MARKETING!

If you noticed all popular blogs do not have Adsense. Do you know why? It is because Adsense really pay very little for the amount of traffic you have on your blog. Most bloggers who make really lots of money from blogging sell banner ads instead and you can charge any amount you choice to charge.
